The thing is, if you can build like this we must accept that crossing oceans is not impossible. It is unquestionable to think so. Especially when you consider that these people would be constantly searching for new material.
There is also the possibility that oceans were not as wide and therefore insurmountable as they are today. That perhaps continents were located much closer to each other and that the reason earthquakes occurred so often was because the continents had commenced shifting again.

All the obelisks should be made of cement concrete since the toppled one shows that it was hollow and filled with small pieces of things.
