Dude, I literally have a DiMarzio The Cruiser laying around. I can't believe you got that sound out of a $20 pickup, you could literally put this audio on top of someone playing an expensive Ibanez or whatever, and I would totally buy it. You definitely know how to work with what you have! props to that
Thanks man!, my plan was to install a Bareknuckle cobra, but the pickup alone cost more than the guitar itself haha, so it's not worth it imo, anyways, i'm happy with the upgrade
@@josessuarezz i have a rag and a jug, don't. they are bad? no. are they necessary? not really. pickups are a hoax, i am happy with my $30 wilkinson pickup

just the guitar connected directly to the interface and tweaking the options in Archetype Gojira until i found that spanky tone, the hot rails pickups helps a lot too

That is not a single coil that he plays on. It's a Hot Rail pickup which is a humbucker with the size of a single coil.

HA reminds me of my strat that I have! As a joke I put some thick ass strings on there and tuned it to drop G# and it worked FLAWLESSLY and sounded amazing! Now I keep it in G G C F A D tuning for some periphery songs and it is my trusty djent djenerator™ because of how insane it is. Strats are op for metal really
I thought of doing the same haha, i loved the lastest Haunted Shores album, Hellfire are in that same tuning too, but in the end that tuning limited me to only play those songs

Just a random momentary push button, and the on/off switch was planned to do coil split, but in the end i left it like a dummy switch

@@josessuarezz build your self a tilman preamp and use it as an on off switch. i have one on my 7 string and its literally just a "better" switch lol.

@@josessuarezz you just need space for a 9v, the circuit is super small, you should have space in a strat. basically makes your passive pups active without changing their overall tone, better headroom, and it makes your signal buffered. youll hear it when you hook it all up i promise and youll thank me running it in that tunning with those pups. its magic on singles. let me know if you need a link to the board

Dude I need your preset because I can't make anything sound decent when pitch shifted beyond(I guess blow) B standard, and this sounds absolutely awesome
