It was quite tough but as always, I still thoroughly enjoyed myself! I'd much rather be on my bike in any weather than not on it... Pretty sure France saved up its annual rainfall just for me! There are some pretty epic rides on the horizon (Africa later in the year) hopefully I'll get some sunshine then! 😁
Was scrolling down to say the same thing. It doesn't get all that cold here in Australia, but 8 hours in rain and 5C takes its toll. I went the Milwaukee heated hoodie as it's cheap and battery powered, so no cables to the bike. They do a vest now and I'd probably get that if I was buying now.
The Keis heated jacket is excellent, I’ve just come back from Belgium and France and to be able to adjust the temperature inside you jacket on rides like you just done is invaluable. Keeping your core warm makes you both comfortable and therefore safer as you’re better able to concentrate on your riding ….. safe travels 👍
Hi! The opening music is called "Full Throttle" it's written and performed by me and only available to hear on my channel. All the music featured on the channel is stuff I've written and recorded... Thanks for watching!
Great video matey!! We live down the road from Morrison’s…. Travelled your route many times on our way to the Alps too. Shame about the weather so hope it improves for your next days riding..
A top for chunnel tunnel users. If you get there early, just drive straight round to embarking. They will always let bikes on the next train leaving, regardless of letter. This holds true for both sides.
Hello! Thank you so much for your comment and also for subscribing - I really appreciate it! I totally agree with you and thankfully I now have a new microphone (the old one was inside my helmet but wasn’t very good) and I have a new GoPro too. The results are leagues apart - new videos featuring the new gear won’t appear for about a month yet… Please bear with me and thanks once again! 😊
Hats off to you with that weather, I bet that was a mental battle

@@TwoWheeledDreamer Africa……wow
Oh that’s funny, I just did this exact same thing on my CBR650 and stayed at that exact Airbnb!
Clearly great minds think alike!! 😂
I bought a heated kies heated long arm under garment. It’s a complete game changer on long winter rides.
I’m looking into heated gear… thanks for the recommendation! 😊

@@reinmansmith The Keis is the one people mention, definitely time for me to look into it… Thanks! 😁
awesome video mate, so happy the youtube AI suggested this to me !!!
Thank you for watching my friend!
to eliminate the noise , I would recommend using an external mic which you can hide in your helmet .
Thank you, I’m slowly amassing the equipment I need! 😊
Just stumbled on your channel and subscribed. Safe travels 👍
Thank you Mark, it’s great to have you onboard and very much appreciated! 😊
Northern France excels at wind and rain! Well done for going that far in one hit....
Thank you! It felt like an endurance test!! 😊
Central France can sometimes be blustery too! I just came back a week ago.
Great opening..had to pause vid to ask...what is the opening music score?!?! Shazam is lost with the balad... Thx for sharing!!

I think you're a bit like myself. Much more fun riding on your own as you're free to do what you want and when you won't. Stay safe and enjoy 😎
I love the autonomy of an open road, just me and the bike… hope your travels are safe too. Thanks! 😊
Great video and just subscribed. Just bought a new Vstrom and want to travel and I'm a miserable devil who likes his own company!!!
Thank you for subscribing! You can’t beat the open road and a little solitude… Enjoy that Vstrom and safe travels! 😁

Loved the video but let down by your mic. Is it inside your helmet?

France is bigger than it looks on a map
It certainly is!
