I’m sure he had to convince himself that he didn’t want to live to 70 to make his impending demise easier to handle and accept. He wasn’t ready to leave us, RIP Fred ❤
i think it was a mix between handling better his fate and not actually being able to imagine himself as a 70 year old the thing about these interviews is that they show us who he really was as a person (a amazing person btw) but it also makes us wonder if he'd still think the same if he was alive?
Which interview? It's snippets from different years. He thought The Miracle in 1989 was going to be his last Queen album, hence the last track Was It All Worth It.
Oh my darling ! You left us 33 years ago and you are always in our hearts. Never equaled never replaced. RIP my sweet Freddie.❤❤❤😢😢😢😢
Freddie Mercury: Lover of life, singer of songs. 🎉
The greatest front man of all time. Freddie was passionate, brave and resilient. Incredible what he achieved
One of a kind!

Doubt it, I'm not dying and I wouldn't want to see 70
I have press clippings going back to 1973. He said in the mid-70s that he didn't want to live to an old age.
i never knew how much open freddie could be in some interviews, i feel like when he was more comfortable he was able to open himself a little more
That interview makes me cry😢
❤Freddie - What a sense of humor!😂 Such a handsome man, with a big heart ♥️ You sure are missed 😊 And could never be replaced ❤Love you forever 😊

These are same folks as "The Detail"
FREDDIE Mercury wasn't famous for his illness
But about his talent.
-: you are disrespectful
shame on you.
I agree with you. Real fans concentrate on the music, not his private life and death 👍👑🇬🇧
I bet if that interview was in 1989 , it would be so different!!! When he says stuff like that, makes me think he already knew something was wrong !!!

The incubation period is around 12 years. Most people appear to think he caught HIV in New York 1978.
@@barrymitchell6444 maybe yes he could have caught it at that time (sorry for my bad English).
