@@Tocaraca Im sure he meant to say the band was helping him deal with his depression. I don't think he was asking for attention, but sometimes the people who do are the ones that need the most help. Just giving you my perspective :)
Also, Nbt has totally helped me deal with my problems as well. I listened to their Broken Machine album in my car for literally like 3 months straight. They are therapeutic!
Yeah, it's one of the best parts of these guys. Conor had Depression and now he is very proud of himself when he talks about mental health. Also is proud when he hears that the Band changed in a better way people. Hope you are good now, I know how hard is to get over this fucking bitch named depression. Xoxo
Radiohead really helped when my wife died suddenly at 47 people think they are depressing but for some reason the beautiful sadness helped a lot.

What I love about their debut that Broken Machine was missing is the atmosphere that surrounds the songs, both heavy and softer ones, it feels amazing with great headphones
Both are equally amazing for me, but Broken Machine has more replay value imo
Ban all the music is that song you need to listen more for star loving it! And my favorites songs are ''Amsterdam'' and ''You know me too well'', good video!!
NBT is my favorite band, love that your reacted. I am surprised you didn’t like Graveyard Whistling, it’s personally one of my favorite songs they’ve made. I think it has so much meaning and emotion behind it. Plus the slow crescendo throughout the whole song I think is really unique.

Please do Mister Asylum by Highly Suspect! Their sound is like a harder Royal Blood with prog elements, and they have one of the best vocalists I have ever heard!
Tamerlein Music highly suspect are an amazing band, nobody I mention them to has heard of them but songs like Lydia, serotonia, wolf, lost, bath salts are all great

@@user-ip6he6rq8c Mister Asylum falls into the same riff-based hard rock that a lot of Royal Blood does. Their second album is very different, but I prefer the first.
@@nritsch Yeah, one riff in one song. Singing is very differend and I haven't heard any song from Royal Blood that would sound like Serotonia, Mom , Wolf, Little One....

well I do hope things Get Better - I saw them at Leeds Festival and it's probably the best show I've ever been to, which is saying something because I saw Muse headline the year before!

Six billion is the song I like the most probably. It's just a pure masterpiece and so is the whole album. And I should say that sadness of this song pretty much cured my own sadness (if that makes any sense)

When Hostage came on I was like yeah it’s gonna be a real banger. Definitely feel that even though trip switch is the better single ( and the first one I’ve heard by them) Hostage just does so much more for me in terms of musical variety

I might be 5 years late but I'm so glad to FINALLY see someone react to arguably my favorite nbt song (Itch), most of the videos I've see so far have been reacting to Amsterdam or songs from their Moral Panic album (which are all wonderful, but I'm so happy my fav got some love lol)
I heard sorry, neon brother, and amsterdam before but i decided to listen to their whole discography and i LOVE it. Nothing but thieves is easily becoming top 3 bands for me

A bit surprised to see that a lot of people prefer the debut to Broken Machine. Self-titled album is very good, it has really great songs, but also some more repetitive and less memorable, and it's maybe a bit too long. And I love Broken Machine - Amsterdam, Sorry, Broken Machine, Live Like Animals and others are fantastic. However, it's not so important which one's better, they're a really cool band with an outstanding lead voice! I'd like to see them live one day :)
As much as I love this album, Broken machine does show growth and has lot of bangers.

Great album choices! HTTT is an interesting album that'll go from song filled with guitars to piano and keyboard based songs instantly and then back again, gives it a interesting, changing texture
Rated R is probably what you'll expect, similar to SFTD (No radio bits though), it does have some very tasteful atmospheric choices though
Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid would be a great follow-up, great indie-rock/pop with lots of strings highlighting certain melodies and very warm, broad vocals

I love this album, although the second half kinda pales in compared to the back to back hits with excuse me - trip switch. Not too big on the following tracks and the bonus tracks.

First album is their best. After that they couldn't do amazing songs like that imo. Later works of them is worse than first one.
Also i'm wondering, are you listening them still?
I think first album has a big addiction potential for listeners. Nearly all songs are catchy, fresh sounding and not so simple.
Secondly when will come second part?
Do you still think this or are you enjoying them again now? Personally their second album is my favourite overall, and their newer stuff is also excellent - e.g. Real Love Song, Your Blood. They are my all time favourite band!
