You can also use this to find problems in your mix: anywhere where you get a lot of dots in the same spot, you have a problem, because multiple instruments are sharing the same frequency and panning

Great solution for listening for errors...sort of like a real-time Izotope RX window.

Very Good, I'm Brazilian, I always comment on your Videos hahaha! How do I record the Computer screen with Logic output audio at the same time? How do you record your videos? Congratulations on the Channel, I am very grateful for the knowledge you have brought to us!

Thank you! I use the Quicktime player for the screen and audio recording. As audio input I use the line input of the Mac Pro which is connected to the analog mixer. You can also use the first two inputs of the audio interface as the audio source.

That is very interesting. But how You record/export the altered track? I can manage to isolate something using my DAW (Reaper).

Hi, just found your channel and subscribed! I have a vocal track i want to pitch correct with Flex. Only it has guitar bleed on it i can’t remove (and that causes artifacts and phasing when Flex tries to “correct” it). Do you think Peel could remove the guitar completely, or almost completely? I’m also thinking of trying Melodyne Polyphonic and iZotope Rx de-bleed, if you’re familiar and can comment on those. thanks.

It depends where the guitar is in the mix. If it is on the left or right it might work but if it is in center together with the vocal it won‘t.

Mmm! I still hear parts of the instruments that are playing in the same frequency as the vocals. I guess when you play it back with the playback you could get phasing problems.

I am using the TRIAL version of PEEL but when I cover an area of the sound, I still hear the original track and not the isolated sound. I just put in an audio file. Am I doing something wrong? I am new to DAWs so I wouldn't be surprised if this was simple.
    I'm using FL Studio.

@@ZedMartyProduction thank you very much were you happy with the behringer mx 9000? thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

I had the MX8000 before and I have to say it was ok, especially considering the price :) Lot’s of features and pretty clean sounding. Even though it was second hand, it was basically new - not much used by the previous owner. However, I sold it because the Soundcraft is soundwise quite a step forward. Less noise, very nice EQs and preamps and the built quality is overall better.

Bad sound. Too much artifacts. I can achieve the same result with some good EQ-ing, the only thing is Peel is faster but i am not impressed with the quality of the results. This is just a toy, not for (semi)professionals.

Ya there plugins from 10-15 years ago that did this better which I think is weird. But since everyone’s not willing to do a lil digging guess there stuck with this.
