I was a raging alcoholic. There were times in my life I was drunk every day for a month. So I can say I feel every word of this song. But you will be happy to know I've been clean since 2006 and I'm now on my way to being a pastor!

God used a pregnancy I wasn't supposed to have to heal my coke addiction! I've been sober since the day I found out. My son will be 15 in a few months. God is so good all the time! 🙏 ♥ this is 1 of the 1st songs I heard when I stopped listening to secular music. 🔥
I also had God blesse with a child a 16 healed me from a coke addiction. He is now 21 I didn't find out I was pregnant till I was 6 months. He came out a healthy 8lbs. 2oz. Thank you Lord for always showing up and showing out. He has been there for me through out my whole life. That's just the beginning of what he has done in my life. He chased me down. He left the 99 for me and I'm so thankful and owe it all to him all my praise hallelujah!!!!

I tried everything to break my addiction rehabs 12-step programs AA meetings nothing helped me until I found Jesus I've been sober ever since.
The other day, my husband had to have emergency brain surgery. I'd gotten swept under by all the circumstances. God gave me this song when I had no more strength. All the doubt & weakness washed away. I could breathe again. Thank God for being our strength when we have no more.

I was sitting in a prison cell when I heard this song for the first time and it sent me a message from our savior telling me to come back to him 😊 there was a reason why he sent me there, I'm set free from sin by the chains that was bound to me through addiction, anger, negative thoughts, and blame, oh God thank you for your constant Love and Grace, the light you Shone on me in that dark place, I owe my life to you o mighty Lord 🙏🙏🙌🙌

I love this song and I actually saw a man break down in tears and come back to the Lord because of it. I was standing outside of my car and had the radio on and this song came on KLOVE ( my favorite station ) when a man walked up and stopped when he heard it All the sudden he broke down crying and thanked me as if I had done something I was like Sir it wasn't me I just had the radio on It was God and he knew you needed to hear the good news that he is a pain taking Savior

Sitting here listening to this song something wonderful occurred to me and I just want to shout it from the rooftop praise Jesus my grandma now has 9 years sober from alcohol addiction. And I am very proud of her. By the grace of God sobriety is possible. Don't ever give up hope.
I heard it for the first time today January , 10th 2020.. This song got me on my knees and cried to God for healings. I got relieved after and my hope was restored back in Christ. May His name alone be glorify forever.. Amen

I can totally relate to this song. I was drowning in addiction and depression, I've attempted suicide 3 times. I took 150 sleeping pills, but God WOKE me up. That's just one of the many time's God has kept me alive. He pulled me from death and gave me life. God is so good. I owe all to my prison shaking savior, and I love Him so deeply. Thank you Jesus for what you've done, are doing, and for what you will do.

I lived with demonic influenced chains most of my life. I knew that God was always present, but I just could not break the bonds. Recently I experienced health issues that should have ended me. While at my lowest God pulled me up, healed me while in the hospital with kidney failure, then pneumocacal pneumonua. The chains were addiction to sex, lust I was so deep, since a youth. Gone and though the 3 months I was near death, I would do it all again to be free of those chains. God worked a miracle by removing those life long chains and now my kidneys are back and the pneumonia, gone. Should have killed me now completely gone. Praise GOD

I've been in pain for almost 14 years now. Today, my daughter came home from work and started singing this song at the dinner table. I immediately shot a look at her like what song is that? She said, "I heard it on the radio while I was driving home." She shared it with me on her iPhone and I loved it right away! Not only does it have words that everyone can relate to, but it has an amazing chorus that you can sing along with while worshipping. I wish more people would write worship songs like this. My life has been rough to say the least.. but I always remember there are people out there who have it worse than me.. that's when God comes into my heart and I pray for them.. God take a monkey or a chair off me which was alcohol.. This and Fear is a Liar are my two favorite songs from Zach. Saw him a few weeks ago at the Capitol Music Hall in Wheeling, West Virginia. One of the most powerful shows I have ever seen. Some people and I from our church (C3) were part of the meat and greet (we served the guests) and go to meet Zach. Such a great guy. Hope he comes back to Wheeling again soon
