- Poor Anakin Skywalker, between getting his butt kicked vs Ahsoka in Rebels and then coming off the Clone Wars to get beat twice in duels against Obi-wan Kenobi Chad Vader has a pretty lousy battle record. On the other had, his toys and action figures are some of the BEST!

Should KENOBI get a Season 2?
id love to see another season, don't know what story line approach they would take.
I'd be good for a story as Force Ghost Ben with flashbacks, or if they wanted to play up the fan theory with Satine's 'nephew,' that could be fun too!

Yes. And Obi should be told by the force to go to the dune sea at night, then in the darkness a purple blade appears, it walks up to obi, Mace Windu returns hopefully!

Love how the clone wars armor anakin wears is almost identical in design to his later “promotion”
It's been nice seeing them call back to the OT designs with CW era armor. Same's true of Dengar's kit. I always thought it looked out of place in Empire, but it's been cool seeing it the chestplate show up again and again

Thank you for mentioning it's a reissue of the 2017 Vader, most reviewers either say it's a new figure/has new parts, or just miss that completely
It is a reissue, but the helmet is better. I think they slightly modified the head piece under the helmet to stick out slightly more, while adding silver onto the chin piece. It's more accurate and looks good on the ANH Vader

As someone who didn’t own a TBS Vader before this one, I’m absolutely fine with it and the TVC version is amazing overall. I do hope we’ll see the RotJ version for both TVC and TBS since Mando Luke will be out by then.
This is a pretty good figure, but due to it being 90% reuse from the 40th anniversary Vader, it's a definite step back from the ESB Vader, which has far better articulation at the waist and neck as well as superior hands (they generally look better and have less difficulty gripping the saber, although they're still hinged in and out). This one excels in a few areas, though. The saber's thicker peg makes me feel less worried about breaking it, the blade is a deeper red compared the almost pinkish color of the ESB saber, I generally prefer the ANH style helmet with the red lenses, and the lack of neck articulation means the cape actually stays roughly in place unlike the ESB version.
Overall, if you're just getting into TBS and don't have a Vader yet, this is a perfectly fine choice, but if you can grab the ESB Vader for a good price, I'd say go for that instead. Although, we're getting a ROTJ Vader next year that iirc is supposed to be an all new sculpt, so you may want to hold off and wait for that, since that would be more in line with modern TBS and will also have the Sebastian Shaw head.

Definitely an upgrade over the Rogue One version. The R1 figure’s eyes on the helmet were too brightly coloured

The Clone Wars Anakin is strictly eBay or secondhand now, but was a Target exclusive for a hot second
This is not an upgrade in my opinion but it sure is more realistic since it has a fabric cape.
I know this is a month old now but that is how vader carries his saber on his belt.

Well when you was saying Obi wan could of turned on the light saber using the force well actually darth vader has the area the blade comes out of upside down
Right. Since vader keep is saber pointed up instead of down (like most other Jedi) he could've easily been stabbed if it happened to turn on

For sure. I don't mind subtle, but this was almost too subtle
I don't know why this new Darth Vader doesn't have the butterfly joints, they should be ashamed of themselves for using the old mold when they could have used The Empire Strikes Back new body mold for Darth Vader
The control panel on Empire Vader's chest is smaller than A New Hope's.

It's red, just dark dark dark red. Nowhere near as much as the Mafex version for sure
