Los Angeles 4K - Sunset Drive - USA

- Beverly Hills, The Sunset Strip, Hollywood, and Downtown Los Angeles. A drive through the must-see places in Los Angeles, all fit in to one video (aside from Santa Monica which is a bit out of the way so not now). I love this place. It Its name translates to "The Angels". Life is definitely back to normal here in LA (just missing the huge numbers of tourists). And yes, the tourist buses have started driving again, including the Hollywood Celebrity Sightings tour vans (where they take a normal van and saw the roof off). Ah. Back to normal. Looking forward to a fun summer of travel. Enjoy!

Los Angeles (Spanish for "The Angels"), officially the City of Los Angeles and often abbreviated as L.A., is the largest city in California. It has an estimated population of nearly 4 million, and is the second-largest city in the United States, after New York City, and the third-largest city in North America, after Mexico City and New York City. Los Angeles is known for its Mediterranean climate, ethnic and cultural diversity, Hollywood entertainment industry, and its sprawling metropolitan area.
Los Angeles lies in a basin in Southern California, adjacent to the Pacific Ocean, with mountains as high as 10,000 feet (3,000 m), and deserts. The city, which covers about 469 square miles (1,210 km2), is the seat of Los Angeles County, the most populous county in the United States. The Los Angeles metropolitan area (MSA) is home to a population of 13.1 million, making it the second-largest metropolitan area in the nation after that of New York. Greater Los Angeles includes metro Los Angeles as well as the Inland Empire and Ventura County. It is the second most populous U.S. combined statistical area, also after New York, with a 2015 estimate of 18.7 million people.
Los Angeles was incorporated as a municipality on April 4, 1850, five months before California achieved statehood. The discovery of oil in the 1890s brought rapid growth to the city. The city was further expanded with the completion of the Los Angeles Aqueduct in 1913, which delivers water from Eastern California.
Los Angeles has a diverse economy and hosts businesses in a broad range of professional and cultural fields. It also has the busiest container port in the Americas. In 2017, the Los Angeles metropolitan area had a gross metropolitan product of $1.0 trillion, making it the city with the third-largest GDP in the world, after Tokyo and New York City. Los Angeles hosted the 1932 and 1984 Summer Olympics and will host the 2028 Summer Olympics.

it's amazing how accurate GTA V is comparing it with the actual city
Just came here to post this is like driving through GTA V
Same with the cars, there are so many irl but every car driving around is similar to one in gta
its cool how they did it. they have a bunch of their developers go out and mark a BUNCH of random landmarks and everything around it like the amount of people, cars, what kind of cars, trashcans. then just made it into game.

Great video! I love how Tesla cars start replacing all of those boring Priuses. Spotted a lot of crazy supercars as well! (McLaren SLR, Aventador, Ferrari 488 Etc.). Hope I'll get to visit/live in LA one day
Yea but a Tesla costs 3 times the price of a prius
@@RS-ft7nv
1. Wrong - Tesla Model 3 base model price is about 41K$, while the Prius is 24K$.
2. Tesla can be cheaper for the long run if you're considering gas prices vs charging prices.
3. People who live in Hollywood and Beverly Hills can probably afford a Tesla, think that a big part of them had the Prius for ideological causes. The Tesla seems to be a way more environmental and driver friendly car

as a european its insane to me how every single intersection has traffic lights it makes moving around so slow omg
Every street is like this
Nahh, it's just because your European...you need to complain and act like Europe is better lol
@@pingubustanut6530 I dont think so, considering the population of the US, and the amount of cars that are driven each day, I would say the US has same amount if not better stats when it comes to traffic accidents or road fatalities. Having the better roads, appropriate pedestrian sidewalks does play a role in that too.
@@Rerp2000 It's not about what you think when there is statistical evidence against your opinion. The trouble with many American cities is their design around the car. Living downtown without a car is easy, but getting out of the city center is a pain in the ass without a car. On the other hand, living in the suburbs without a car is hell while having a car is really convenient. The happy medium between walkability and drivability just isn't there in most US cities.
@@NoLifeStarCraft Don't understand your argument. Do you believe there are no suburb like areas in all of Europe where having a car would be more convenient? Because I know many Europeans who face the same situation where living in a suburb causes troubles in getting to places. Again it is just the fact that you "might" be European and need something to complain about against the US lol. Besides that is why people designate where they should live based off of what they have. People with a car have the freedom to live in the suburb, people who want to travel freely by walking or what not may prefer to live in a downtown area. So?
What a big and diverse city. An interesting combination of palm trees and skyscrapers) On foot, probably, it will take a long time to walk the whole
