I can't believe the fact that Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams dated after they filmed the Notebook wasn't discussed. I personally find that weirder considering their feud.

Regarding Anthony Daniels, I have an anecdote regarding him. While keeping in mind the stories about him being dismissive to costars and fans, during one of my trips to Comic Con, I was waiting in line for Marina Sirtis, and Daniels' table was next to Sirtis'. He was getting ready to leave the con, and they had closed his line off. But then some little kid came running past the entrance to his line, holding a lightsaber toy, looking very excited. Daniels saw the kid, smiled, and then pulled out HIS OWN LIGHTSABER TOY and did a brief Lightsaber duel with the kid, before the kid's parent caught up to him, apologized to Daniels and then took the kid away. It was such a cool moment that i wish i could have somehow gotten that recorded.

Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss absolutely hated working with each other on what is in my opinion the ultimate shit show that was the production of Jaws. Shaw was a bully and would pick on Dreyfuss all the time even spraying him in the face with a firehose once and Dreyfuss threw his boose overboard the Orca. Steven Spielberg realized that the relationship between these two guys would work well for their characters so he tolerated the rivalry on set.

Most of what's cited about Crawford vs Davis is actually manufactured rumor & BS. For example: the actresses were working under the studio system in the 30's, and they worked for different studios. They can't have been competing for roles - movies didn't work that way in the early days. It's not hard to find cited sources that debunk most of this nonsense. #disappointed #researchBetter

@@penny6091 Youre right. Be Kind Rewind did a better job discussing the "feud". They probably took the rumors as facts or they watched the show Feud and based everything from there either way, more research was definitely needed.

Really surprised didn't add blue collar 1978, had 3 guys all told they were the lead by the director when hired, Richard Pryor, Yaphet Kotto, and Harvey Keitel.
Basically they all tried to sabotaged each other by messing up takes, and the fighting. Also they would bring drugs and even brought a gun one time to the filming location. The director never directed a movie ever again. blue collar is an entertaining movie, but the behind the scenes storys are way better

My big choices for this are:
It's common knowledge that Andy Dick and John Lovitz fucking hate each other due to the death of Phil Hartman, but it escilated due to Lovitz having to join News Radio due to the loss of Hartman.
Bill Murray refused to do Ghostbusters again for years due to his fued with Harold Ramis on Groundhog Day.
Bill also had a feud with Chevy Chase on SNL and Caddyshack due to a thing called "being Chevy Chase."
Also, an honorable mention, Brian Henson and Steve Whitmire. The son of the creator of The Muppets and the pain in the ass who took over as Kermit.

There's also the story of Corey Feldman and Ted White who worked together on Friday The 13th: IV.
White hated fledman's attitude and obnoxious behind the scenes behaviour while feldman didn't like white (who was playing jason vorhees) because he "acted aloof and wouldn't talk to people" (white was a method actor and would isolated himself away from everyone on set to "preserve the menace" of jason), white said that he "would've liked nothing more than to have taken him over my knee and given him a good whooping".
White also had a shoot long running feud with the film's director joseph zito because of the shoddy way he treated the other actors in the movie.

Kate Mulgrew and Jeri Ryan, Captain Janeway and Seven of Nine respectively, were in a pretty nasty feud on the set of Star Trek Voyager after Jeri Ryan joined the cast in season 4. Mulgrew was mostly the instigator. Supposedly she was resentful of Ryan because she was touted a new star of Voyager. At the time, Jeri was dating show runner Brannon Braga when she joined the cast. I guess she met him at a bar? Anyway, Kate resented that she was younger and was treated like a sex symbol to bring in, I don't know, more adolescent boys with the cat suit or something. Supposedly, Jeri Ryan didn't really get it and it was actually kind of painful and confusing for her. Janeway and Seven had a LOT of scenes together as Janeway was Seven's mentor in the final 4 seasons. Voyager was actually kind of a shitshow tbh. Everyone hates Robert Beltran, Garrett Wang resented that Harry Kim never got a promotion (like legitimately)... I once scoured old Star Trek forums and found out all the dirt. DS9 wasn't that smooth of sailing either, particularly Avery Brooks and Rene Auberjanois though it doesn't sound nearly as petty and shitty as Mulgrew and Ryan.

The writers support Shatner’s claims more than Takei, and if you keep looking into it Takei’s comments seem off.
They both seem to have big egos, but Takei is maybe better on appearing to be more normal.

Takei is definitely more right than Shatner, but Shatner is slightly right. I think Shatner just doesn't take note of people he works with unless it's pretty intimate, such as working with Nimoy. The entire cast of the series (except for DeForest Kelley) have stories about Shatner being a selfish asshole, getting directors to work other actors out of shots, being rude and cold at conventions, etc. Fans that have met him (myself included) thought he was rude and ungrateful, despite us forking over money directly to him to get his autograph and photos.

Reading those two random Shatner/Takei quotes and gleaning from it who the problem was seems silly. Neither sounds like the first thing said. I mean, how did it START? I'm no particular Star Trek fan, but I feel like I remember it having something to do with a memoir? Like, either Takei trashed Shatner in his, or Shatner didn't even mention Takei in his? Something like that.
It doesn't make sense that Shatner would start it. Shatner has always been the way bigger star. (Before the Stern show and George becoming this sort of g*y activist or whatever he's become, most people probably had no idea who he was.) I think Takei trashed him or was mad he was overlooked by him, and Shatner was like, "Who?"
I think it's pretty dishonest and weak to, after you've said a bunch of disparaging things about someone and they're ANSWERING you, to then pretend you're the one taking the high road.
Or...maybe I am totally misremembering their feud. 'Spose I coulda looked it up...but so could you have. And you made a podcast about it. Just sayin.'
