Milpy, do you have any tips for getting good at the game? I want to start playing, but I don't really know how to get better...
Really hard to say without seeing you play or playing you myself but I can throw out some general advice for newer players!
Learn a BnB that ends with a safe jump. This alone will put you above most newer players.
Learn a punish combo so you can kill them when they DP the safe jump you just learned.
Something I see a lot of new players do is use their Burst near the end of round 1 when they're almost dead and their opponent is near full HP. Don't do this. You'll likely spend round 2 without a Burst and die very quickly.
If your DP gets block/baited, most characters can cancel into a super. This will catch a lot of people. Depending on the situation you can roll/block/jump the super.
Also, join the Discord! Lots of helpful players as well as character specific channels with tons of info in the pins
