This was my very first method to draw a head with guiding lines. For me it's the easiest way to get confident with proportion. After practicing a few times you won't need the guiding lines anymore - just imagin them. Have fun!

Just a tip: don’t ever start over. Even if it’s bad, finish it. As a beginner it doesn’t need to be perfect and soon you’ll start drawing better without realizing.

Just finished this and god it’s bad, eyes aren’t the same size, and they also aren’t centered. Lips are terrible and the ears are too. Basically everything is bad and it hurts to look at but I did it

Similar with music practice. Finish the song. If you start over, you only get good at what you’ve completed! Plus you get good at fixing your mistakes on the fly, a big part of being a pro at anything.

Draw a box and then a circle inside. The box keeps u from going larger n if the circle dont touch the bottom, left, right and top its too small

This is the easiest how-to draw a facial I have found in months! Thank you!
It took me four tries until getting the right proportions and shading. Definitely worth the try. Guys just keep on trying don't stop at sketch one, try it again and again. It's really easy. Maybe most of the commenters are saying "everyone I can do this then put the pencil down on paper... not working or looks bad" Guys just keep on trying until you get a pace that you feel comfortable with. You can do this!
Mine turned out 100 times better than I expected. Thanks so much! This video gave me more confidence in my drawing skills!

This is possibly the best face that I've ever drawn...
because I've never ever drawn a human face before...I actually managed to draw the face very well. I have about 5-6 years of drawing animals and all sorts of other things but humans have never been my main drawings. I grew up learning what I now know on my own but this video definitely helped a lot, even after doubting so much throughout the video.

My first time doing art... But instead of doing it on paper, i tried to make it in digital art... and it kind of worked! It looks disgusting of course but there is still room for improvement and it's way better than wasting ur life at gaming. I literally got excited after drawing my first face. Way better that trying to grind in LoL.
I am using this in one of our classes and the students are doing an excellent job. It is easy when the video is stopped after each point, which allows every student to catch up and refine their work, to that point. Also, as a math teacher, I appreciate the precision this teaches.

Thank you so, so much for this tutorial! I have been inspired by many youtubers to start drawing. I guess I'm okay in sketching, drawing and coloring but when it comes to painting.... Yaas, it's pathetic really. So, I'm tryna sharpen my sketching skills... And I needed this so, thank god for that!!

Explanation why: it would still be flat because a circle is a 2 dimensional shape, so it has no "sides" other than the ones that are "top and bottom" (spheres don't technically have sides either) a sphere is a 3 dimensional shape, so it has "sides" which makes the Earth the way it is (a ball of life in the solar system taking the shape of a sphere) which brings me back to the flat part, if Earth was flat, either all would be on the "top" or it'd work how Earth does already and one side would have the conteinets which have their countrys, which have their states ( I don't know what the states are called if other places, like I don't know if that's what germany calls them) which then lead to the city's, towns, villages, and the open wilderness. And so would the other side and Earth slowly orbits around the sun, leading one side light and the other side darkness, correct if I'm wrong, which Is probably this whole paragraph because I don't know much about this kinda stuff.

One thing I've learned when drawing anatomy is to give your drawing time to come together. Once you start adding shading and highlights it usually begins to come together. You'll erase a lot as you begin to develop and place features. Then top off with details. Just keep going 👌

Not even a minute in and I'm already struggling to sketch a circle
Circles are tough, no doubt! Whenever I start my drawings, I usually skip the circle and just try to get the overall head shape. On my channel, you will see a bunch of tutorial videos that show you what I mean.
In my experience, if I am drawing from imagination, I would start with a circle to lock in the placement of the person. But if I am looking at a photograph (which is what I always do), then I don't do circles and instead, I draw the overall shape of the head and then work inwards.

Thanks for the handy strategies. lt took me 4 weeks to practice face drawing. What l did was downloaded some pre drawn sketches offered by penciI.work and printed them on some A4 papers. Within 3-4 days I was abIe to draw the whoIe drawing and, in 3-4 weeks I was abIe to draw any face or object.😊🤓
