    Guppies are my all time favorite fish! I breed blue lace guppies, blue grass guppies and blue Moscow guppies. I have a community 40 gal long that I keep my non breeding male guppies in. I keep a pair of German blue rams, a honey gourami, a peacock gudgeon, rummy nose tetras, neon tetras and my very favorite mister panda garra. I can definitely recommend panda garras in guppy tanks. All of the fish in there get along beautifully with the guppies. The only issue I have is the male ram will sometimes chase off the honey gourami.

    Great topic and video! My largest tank - 20g has mutt endler guppies with a honey gourami and mystery snails. I would love to see more videos on what combos would work! Especially for fry control, as my honey gourami is sooo sweet and does nothing, yet for any new suggestions I wouldn’t want the snails harassed. Happy Monday! 😀

    I breed guppies in 4 fish tanks & an 1100G outdoor pond, all with good success. The inhabitants with which they breed include.... neocardinia shrimp, spector crawfish, dwarf mexican crawfish, goldfish, shubunkin, koi, snails (pond, bladder, mystery, nerite, white wizard & ramshorn) highfin platies, boesmani rainbowfish, angelfish, harlequin raspbora, common & bristlenose plecos, 5 different kinds of corys. And my red & black neo shrimps are breeding like crazy in heavily infested water with guppies. Love your channel BTW, keep it up you 2 :)

    I had 1 female Blue Tail Albino guppy and plan to get a new pair when they go back in stock - I just put in 2 females and 1 male Blue Dragon guppies. I'm expecting some interesting new offspring from the two. They are in a a heavily planted 40g breeder with 8 X-ray tetras and some cherry shrimp. I can afford to lose some cherry shrimp.
    My great grandfather bred guppies back in the 60's and 70's.

    Great video, as always! I have a 20 gallon long tank with a LOT of guppies...and fry. It's stocked with three Siamese Algae Eaters, Mystery Snails, and Ramshorn Snails. Yes, that's a lot of livestock, but it is also heavily planted, including Pothos in a holder on the back and a Lucky Bamboo to the substrate. No issues at all with any parameters but will do a 20-30% water change when Nitrates get to 40 ppm, which is every 2 weeks or so. Tank is about 18 months old,so it is fairly well seasoned.

    I find they go well with most peaceful fish that do not require soft, acidic water or are fin nippers. Mine is in with Cherry Barbs, Rosy Tetras, Ottos, Diamond Tetras and Siamese Algae eaters. Ph around 7.5 so not as high as yours. Would not mix them with Endlers though, they will cross breed.

  • @echoesvayne9790
    @echoesvayne9790 2 года назад

    My guppies breed in 6.5 to 7.2, also... the water is fairly hard though... I just live on top of a watershed so local water is acidic. I have to crushed coral and wondershell everything for minerals, but I'm not trying to chase ph... they get what they get... and if they don't work I try a new fish.... multies are the only one I want to try that is going to challenge the water here, but I'm not even going to try it until my wife finishes nursing school
    My sparkling gourami eat the guppy fry also..... it's slowly letting me stock my 20 gallon how I want it... the gourami and kuhli loaches.. slowly the gourami are dwindling the guppies down... so next spring when I move my rice fish outside I can play around with one final tank mate while their 20 gallon long is unoccupied when they are in the pond outside

    Quick question. Ive searched everywhere and I can’t seem to find an answer to this question anywhere, so if you could help me out I would be so grateful! Can you keep corys and loaches together? A lot of people say no because they’ll harass each other but from the sounds of some of your videos, it sounds like you can so I was just seeing if you could clear that up and if you kept both together (specifically kuhli and/or weather loaches) what size tank would you recommend for the minimum?? Thank you! I appreciate it and I love your videos!
