  • This week was intense, starting with training sessions at the stadium and annex, despite ongoing construction. Fatigue and illness hit hard on Tuesday, leading to a day of rest. By Wednesday, food shortages and minimal provisions challenged my energy, but support from my family and local circle helped. Training continued despite my health, focusing on prehab, throwing, and gym sessions. Thursday’s shakeout day included an interview and mental prep for the upcoming competition amidst logistical chaos, including a poorly managed move from bungalows to a hotel.
Friday, competition day, was a mix of support from family and personal struggle with illness. My performance included decent throws, though not my best, and emotional lows balanced by family presence. Saturday brought a hammer throw event, a new challenge for me, followed by a restful Sunday after receiving our uniforms.
On Monday, I trained for discus and enjoyed a shot-put competition, engaging the crowd and finishing 7th. The week concluded with ongoing training and team support. Despite the difficulties, I’m grateful for the opportunity to compete and the support system that keeps me moving forward, making the best of every moment.
