weaponising every damn thing ! How are Oil rigs mobile ? they are fixed, easy to target platforms..yes of course, using any unused Rig provides an additional platform, but one that can be easily targeted. and perhaps can be shielded by a Patriot system nothing to protect from Torpedoes though
Not all oil rigs are fixed platforms, plenty can move to different locations
They have lost the capability to build their own battleship, oilrig is their next best.
No need for all this.
