First off - great video. Thank you. Second - as of now UAD has 3 month for 1$ so you can go ahead and try it. 3rd - when I cancelled before the 3 month ended I was prompted I can get a 10$ a month deal. So yeah, give it a try!
It's a great bundle - most higher end plugins can be up to $150 [each] and here you are getting a power-packed library for 150/yr. If you produce music regularly, that's a great deal! When I started recording, I was a novice getting a few plugins here and there, wondering what I was missing, but when I started using these (the Fairchild 670 is just one example 👍👍) started making my mixes sound incredible. I've found a use for every plug-in, and they really do - unlike other plugins I've purchased - make huge transformations / refinements to the sound. There's a UAD and UADx which was confusing at first, I have no additional hardware, only running it all through Ableton. So evidently the one version links in w/ hardware, but it's great they have both versions so the hardware is not necessary.
I rescued two tracks from a dustbin using Spark and they're now on my portfolio. Izotope couldn't. I'm a pro composer. Sometimes when you think it is too good to be true, it actually is.
Yeah if you don’t want the sub, you can pay 100 or so per plugin (free updates forever). I don’t buy into the subscription and buy the plugins up front. I already am in the Apollo DSP ecosystem though so i have most of these already and yes they are life changing. So $20 for plugins I’ll use in every part of the mix is waaay better than $10/month for things I’ll use sometimes or for specific use case scenarios. And MUCH better than waves where it’s 220 plugins for 250/year, but I’ll only use Ike 10-20 of them and they sound okay since they are 10+ years old for the most part 😂.
Now 30 plugins. They are very usable as are the presets. I use Plugin Alliance and they are good but the presets PA create are lacking. Not the case with UA, the presets are excellent.
whats the difference between connect and spark? because i got LA 2A for free few months ago and it shows in connect. I recently got the native versiion of helios eq bundle it was like 4$ but its not showing up in connect? i thought it might be it needs spark to run. but man it is pricey honestly.
I'm wondering how long a native processor can handle the workload though... if you are running a processor that isn't the latest and greatest and you have a Universal interface, why would you spend a bazillion dollars on the newest processor just to spend only 9.99 for a subscription? The entire point of Universal was to be able to run your audio processing outside of your "native" procesor.
I need a song mixed so I can learn what exactly to do as an artist trying to mix his own music. Might make for an informative video and also help ppl like me in the process. What do you say?
Nah I wanted to try out Spark since it came out. Also, I never said buying Black Friday deals was bad, I was saying it won’t fix your music 😂 these tools are cool, they’re not fixing my mixes. Any tool I use can do that. I just seem to like these ones. Also .99 cents for 3 months?! That’s kind of a smokin deal imo
@@ProducingInTheBox Yeah, at .99 cents for the 3 months, I had to check it out. UAD is going to add two plugins every few months to Spark to prolong they sales on their Apollo line. Also, adding all of the their plugins at once to Spark would limit users from trying out LUNA, which imo is a more analog sounding version of Studio One even in its infancy.
I've got over 460 plugins and I use probably less than a fourth of those. I'm done buying plugins unless they come up with some type of major innovation.
If you are from another country (depends on which country), it doesn't actually works. In my case and with the fees my country has, i will have to pay a number that is equivalent to a third part of what i'm paying for my rent monthly. Its just a lot. I wish i could have this so i can improve my home studio and my production skills. I'm saving for an Apollo. It's all i can do now. i've been saving for years. But the currency here is crap. Anyways. Thanks for the video. Nice info.
2:14. You're like 13 years old. Have you even been in the presence of studio legends like the Teletronix to be able to tell the difference"blind folded" ?
But the plugins with apollo i think they perform better than Spark from what i hear in youtube videos test Also is not about how many plugin you have it's about the ears and the experience I will go with UAD not slate
Bro I was just about to say the same thing. Every girl singer is just trying to mimic the popular shitty ass singers, and same with guys. Everyone is just trying to copy a shitty sound at this point. Today’s music is fucking lame. I’m going to go recreate a modern day Pet Sounds and tell anyone who doesn’t like it to go fuck off. Cheers 🍻

Great and informative video my man!!

I think it's actually 26 total.
I went with Slate Digital. It was a nobrainer.
Yes Slate and Plugin Alliance So Analog
Thanks for the insights :)

1:23 big hit
Sounds pretty good, thanks
Studio One 🐐
try to do side by side comparison in a sound. than you go uad)
Where can I get that song you have? Sick video!
I think it’s just about worth it if you already have ana 2
What was that vocal chain besides the compressor?
I need a song mixed so I can learn what exactly to do as an artist trying to mix his own music. Might make for an informative video and also help ppl like me in the process. What do you say?
i will do this lmk
UAD had a holiday special for Spark at 99 cents for the three months. Are those Black Friday holiday deals finally getting ya?
Nah I wanted to try out Spark since it came out. Also, I never said buying Black Friday deals was bad, I was saying it won’t fix your music 😂 these tools are cool, they’re not fixing my mixes. They are doing it again today

460?💀 BRUH that’s a lot 😂 what’s your favorite?
Been considering spark since i switched from mac to wondows which makes my apollo useless 😐
Are ALL plug-ins available?
Is the song on itunes?

I thought you said you don’t mix with analog?
I don’t! I’ve used it before, and found that plugins do the job just as good and never looked back
can You use these plugins in Reason 12?
Sihir bunlarda değil. Sihir eklediğiniz saturation pluginlerinde ve summing mixte
Why are there so many idiots on RUclips saying they speak the truth, when they Haven’t a clue about creating
What you mean, bro? 😂
Anyone seeing this now, spark is 99p for free months
99 cents for three months.
bro that reverb sounds nice on the vocal ,what did u use? :)
Literally just the stock room reverb in studio one hahaha
Yep Studio one is the best
Is that your only DAW?
@@ProducingInTheBox
@@VictorManuelMendozaJr no. But it’s basically the only one I use anymore. I’m fluent in most DAWs except FL Studio
Also disclaimer haha. don’t do what I did. Just pick one and go for it. They’re all great

What’s your issue my dude? He’s just reviewing stuff.

I will go with UAD not slate
Not true, they sound exactly the same.
Moog=MOHG
slate digital plugins sound like plastic to me to be honest
Love the video but boy am I tired of these songs they are so annoying I hate that music with a passion.
