is there a way just to fix the home button wire? or would I just have to buy a whole new lcd and digitizer. I accidentally ripped the wire that controls the home button
Hello Can you help me explayn what is the size of the Y-screwdriver you are using...? Y000 or Y00? It wasn't with my order when I received my new iPhone 7 screen. Hope someone can help?
I followed all the steps but there is a flashing apple logo on home screen when i connected it to power to charge it up (i ran the battery down to 0%) of course before attempting to deconstruct it, anyne know anything about htis?
Yes, you can just replace the glass. You still have to open up the phone, and transfer the home button and camera assemblies to the new bezel. Just no LCD digitizer replacement. The kit for this repair can be found here: www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-iPhone-7-Glass-Screen-Outer-Lens-Replacement-Repair-Full-Kit-Bundle/252918266740?hash=item3ae31a7b74:m:mtXPdvdKDmglxxLMeyGnP0g There is a good DIY video of how to replace the glass here: ruclips.net/video/geYe6u54Xus/видео.html
Grant La Sala So true! Before I opened my own business and did this professionally I did it as a hobby at home and I learned that if you don't unplug the battery first.....you gonna fuck up biiiig time lol. But no one ever told me this and most videos on here don't speak of or tell us to unplug the battery so that's why many people don't. Thanks for spreading information that will help others who are just starting this, cause I wish I would have known 5 years ago lol
I will just gеt mу iPhone 7 here twitter.com/dab37c4533b0cc96c/status/790428760050798592 for freе :) Hooow tоoоо rеplаcе iРhоone 7 LCD Glass Sсreеn Sccсreеn Reрlаccеeemеnt
Sebastian Perez you can see in the beginning the phone is clearly powered on. Also, battery was not disconnected. Additionally, heat should also be used when removing the FFC/prox flex and definitely before removing the home button flex, as these are extremely fragile on the 7 & 7 plus and obviously with a new button you'll have zero home button functionality.
You forgot to mention that when replacing an iPhone 7 screen that the home button will not and never will work again even if replaced perfectly. You will be forced to use assistive touch forever. Apple does this so you are forced to take your phone to them and pay a huge price for repair or replacement and so they can put repair businesses out of business.
Stop trolling & contaminating comments with your filth & lies, some people live in the country & don’t have access to repair shops & need to do this themselves to have comms for livlihood, so videos like these are life savers you useless gronk.

Hi when opening iphone 7 I accidentally ripped the bands on the left
Does it matter since the new screen has new bands?
I followed all the steps but there is a flashing apple logo on home screen when i connected it to power to charge it up (i ran the battery down to 0%) of course before attempting to deconstruct it, anyne know anything about htis?
Hi, were you able to address this? thanks in advance.
thank you so much
Where can I purchase the replacement screen for the iPhone 7? I assume that the glass itself cannot be replaced by itself.
That's what i'm wondering

If you refer to the TOUCH ID not working afterwards then it is usually faulty screen as home button ribbon long flex is built into display
You have got to turn the phone off first, so unprofessional....
Sahil sahil your fucking dumb the phone is brand new it has never even been turned on

Agree ..you have to power the phone off and disconnect the battery.!!!

Did it still work then be quit

Is this true?
hmmm, well i repaired someone ip7 screen yesterday and the home button was fine, if you replace the button touch id won't work
Not true! If you use the original home button Touch ID will work fine, it's only if you replace the home button that Touch ID won't work
