    Really like what you are doing in bars 2-3 during the latter half of the video, keeping the pedal tone. I need to work more on those to keep sustained notes in chord melodies more interesting.

      Hello Thorsteinn. Yes, music is about movement. In a piece of music anytime that we have a long sustained note in the melody, we have an opportunity to create a sense of movement by varying the harmony underneath the sustained note. This helps maintain the interest of the listener.
