I well remember feeling like sh-t in Sidari in the early 90's. But that was more to do with ouzo consumption. 😂😂

Hi Kevin, I’m sorry to hear your not feeling well and your foot is still bad it can’t have been enjoyable making this video, a long time ago before we started going to Tenerife we visited sidari eight times we loved it there , how the place has changed we got really friendly with a waiter called Costa then he got his own bar called paradise bar and built some apartments and eventually built a hotel it’s at the opposite end of sidari to canal d’amour, we know so many nice places to visit in Corfu, loved the video it brought back some lovely memories

Hi Kevin, I’ve had Plantar Fasciitis, had injection, Physiotherapy just made it worse. Eventually went to a Chiropractor having watch Dr Rahim the Gonstead Chiropractor on RUclips from the States, he’s corrected Plantar Fasciitis.
So went to local Chiropractor in Shevington, Lancashire and she’s corrected mine. She discovered I had nearly an inch difference in leg lengths, I’ve sprained ankles over the years and even as a child I ran out in-front of a car which must have done some displacement to my pelvis. Cumulative bumps & knocks over the years had resulting in the pain in the heel bones called Plantar Fasciitis.
Highly recommend Chiropractor, I’m 70. Cheers Kevin from Phil. 👍

Have a look at a place called Palaiokastritsa. Absolutely beautiful Maybe half an hour from sidari.
Love this video Kevin. You don't have to apologise. Sadari is a beautiful area. Take it easy, and look after your self. You can always return next year, and do what you are unable to do now. Keep safe and well.
Sidari definitely changed- as expected-from when we took the kids 20 years ago,looks worth a revisit though,probably not there anymore but on the main street was a cracking restaurant called Paradise. Loved the resort though
Rest up kev , a nice chilled oozo and lemonade ,a good night's sleep. Great to see corfu again not been for years, kavos is crazy anyway kev we wouldn't be able to here your night time vlogs from there.👍👍

First holiday in Greece many many years ago not much accomidation and not many places to eat
Drink plenty water to flush bacteria out. I've had it in turkey. Noticed an hour after eating. can be flu like with muscle pain. Went away quick though. Think it's causex by processed food not packaged or stored properly. Hope you feel better.I was back on the best within a day 😊

Hey Kev, I also have plantar fascitis, not fun, I have it in both feet 😢. The best exercises are calf stretching ones. The main thing I found that helped were a shoe called oofoos, they sell stuff to marathon runners to help with foot recovery. They sell shoes and sliders. Hope that helps and please look after yourself and get better soon xx
I’ve had it a couple of times and had cortisone injections but found that putting a tin of beans or something in the fridge to get cold and then roll over your instep helps .
Stayed in the Akron seascape resort a few years ago, fabulous hotel which has swim up pools if you want to upgrade. Also a fantastic place to watch the sunset.

We stay about 8km away from there in Agios Stefanos can thoroughly recommend it

Been to a quite a few Greek isles but never corfu ,I must be honest sidari didn’t look that great hopefully other parts of the island are better because corfus on the shortlist !! Hope you get better soon pal and keep up the good work

Kevin I had that after walking for miles and miles in Budapest. I spent quite awhile just stretching my foot and massaging it. It was better after a few days.

You asked in the video about people noticing change in sidari, I went in 1992 it was a lovely little place, you could tell it could become more commercial, I went back last year and was surprised,yes it had changed, it's much bigger than it was, but it's still got the same charm, and feels very Greek, might seem daft saying that, but it still feels very family run, all the hotels and apartments are. All pretty small, no big high-rise blocks, 👍👍👍

Hi Kevin, while you are on Corfu…go into a pharmacy and buy amoxicillin over the counter for your foot. The other half suffers aswell, and that’s what the doc would give you a script for but you can just buy it abroad. We always stock up when we go away. Hope you are feeling better ❤

Had a terrifying experience today. Was on a motorway and not used to the roads. Sat nav gave me confusing instructions and turned off late indicating of course. Must have cut up some motorbike who then chased us for more than 40km. Is this normal? We didn’t hit him.

Hi Kevin you might be doing a little bit to much going and its possible you ate something that didn't agree with you remember Kevin in that Heat food can go off a lot quicker and you have it ate before you realize i got food poisoning twice abroad and i can tell you you'll never forget it icecream as nice as it is in that heat can go off in your stomach speedy recovery and take things slightly easier it is wise to do so. i had the same thing its also called policemans heel i had the injedtion in the heal wish i never it was so painful i found the best thing was to put like a packet of frozen peas and place your foot on the bag it seemed to do it good

Kevin I suffered with that pal, you need to wear ASICS G2000 trainers only trainers to wear. You need support for your arches & these are the ticket, I am a personal trainer so my feet are very important to protect.
