that "beast" is Kai, and he's one of the best dancers in the industry. Other songs where his performance would probably make your jaw drop is on Tempo (ruclips.net/video/Q-VX60sGRjo/видео.html) and Love Shot... his strength, control and stage presence is just amazing!

Another satisfying choreo is EXO-CBX blooming days (dancepractice) they are a sub unit of EXO :) also, EXO's Love Shot, the one with Kai's solo, gayeodaejun, everyone calls it legendary, and Kai is even known as the idol of idols and titled as the Best Male Dancer for years now :)
Kai cried during elyxion concert after doing his solo performance because he made a mistake while executing it. But honestly, we didn't notice anything wrong or off while watching the whole performance. He started crying his heart out because of that small mistake.
Such is the life of a performer. I can totally empathize and relate to that feeling.
Coz he's a perfectionist. He would always stay after everyone left and practice until the wee hrs of the morning. So his cries is understandable.
The guy you called a beast at the end and said was really sharp is Kai! He's classically trained and went to a dance school. He's considered to be one of the best dancers currently in kpop!

EXO CBX - Blooming Day is something id love to see you analyze! its a subunit of EXO so it only has three members but they do an amazing job of keeping up with the dancers and giving a really great performance. Also if youre looking for another group to react/analyze - Ateez Black Cat/Nero is STUNNING and SF9 Now or Never choreo is sOOOO SICK!
If I remember right, Sehun, the one in brown, was actually pretty sick during this rehearsal.
That guy in the center is named Kim Jongin known as “Kai” - is one of the best dancer in kpop industry. Yes he’s called as “idols of idol” because of his talent. I hope you could react to his dancing in the future too. He got the sharpest move and also can be fluid too.

Sehun actually was sicked when this was shot but actually he is one of EXO's main dancer but agree with you with the reactions 😊 you can check the electric kiss performance they did in Japan tv show so that the dance routine was on point unlike on the concert 😊 thank you for the pointers

Love it. Such honest review. Everyone mentioned sehun's situation and about kai here already so I won't talk about it anymore. I love how you pointed out about chanyeol's height and how he dance as if they all have the same height. He's the tallest one among all of them. Thank you for reacting to this. The guy who you kept saying was super strong with his shapes is Kai (aka Kim Jongin) and he's their main dancer! He's also my ult bias so every time you complimented him I just couldn't stop grinning. I'm so proud of the boys and can't wait for the 9 of them to be together again!!

Electric kiss has a freavky choreography which has 30+ Transitions. You can notice in every lines they sang they change places 🤭
Notice the lines on the floor? That's what they use to keep everything in line and to remember their positions and how far they need to go for every formation and to get to each transition/change smoothly.

Sehun and Kai are the main dancers for Exo (Lay as well but he’s not promoting currently) but Kai is the one you called a beast. He is considered one of the best dancers in the industry, he is classically trained and has a diverse knowledge of different styles. He’s just incredibly satisfying to watch. Sehun was the one in brown. He is a phenomenal dancer but I believe he had the flu during the dance practice filming which is probably why he was slightly off.

Also you're right. The tall guy (Chanyeol) is actually the tallest in the group and so as a trainee he struggled with dancing and would often get scolded by their dance instructor so you complementing him makes me proud

Thank you for this in-depth reaction! Love hearing the perspective of vocalists and dancers when they watch Kpop groups. You should definitely react to 'Tiger Inside' practice by SuperM, a group that features some of the best dancers in Kpop. All the members are from different groups under SM Entertainment: 2 are from EXO (one is Kai, the dancer you pointed out in this video as a 'beast') and the others from Shinee and NCT. Because they are such talented dancers, they can pull off some of the most difficult choreo in Kpop.

Like many others said Sehun, the one brown, was sick that day but there's also something to notice.
EXO's concept is that they're aliens from EXO PLANET with different powers and they always incorporate their powers in the choreo.
Sehun's power is wind so in some parts where you see him doing a movement earlier is also bc he's using his power to make the others follow.
You can also see that when Kyungsoo, at the start, pulls the members down that's bc his power is force.

Kim Kai is a testament as to why being CENTER in a kpop idol group is a legitimate position. There's the leader, the main vocal, the main dancer, main rapper and then there's CENTER. And Kai is both the main dancer and the center. Him and Taeyong of NCT they're just natural born centers. So good. Thanks for this video. It's nice seeing things from a perspective beyond that of just a fan.

actually during the live performance, it was a tape on the stage. it was actually part of the stage that goes down and they put water in them for their other performances during concert but yea its in the middle of the stage
The thing on the floor is not a tape but the stage rises for different performances and each square can rise individually.

The guy you called a 'beast' is Kai, The main dancer of Exo. Considered by S. Korean choreographers as the best male dancer of kpop. He also is a strong visual who dances fully immersed. He can dance any genre well and he has been dancing since he was young even before he auditioned for SM at the age of 10. Dance is his first love and he has said he hopes to continue dancing as long as he possibly can.
24:20 the tape you are talking about is actually not tape but the edges of the lift in the stage. Each rectangle is a lift and used for their other songs for this concert.
You should watch their live performance, you will know how good they are. Singing and dancing perfectly. They are the vocal kings and dancing kings ❤️

great video! there are def a few small mistakes in the dance practice and I like that you pointed them out in a sort of neutral way.
It's not a group performance so idk if you'd be interested, but I'd love to see a breakdown of Lisa's Lili Film #3 dance video. It is one of my favourite solo performances but as someone who doesnt know dance that well, it's hard to pinpoint why I like it so much haha.
The shot this video practice was done right after their attendance on an award show. It was shot around 3-4am after a long schedule. They told us it's a surprise gift to console us fans, bcos it was a hard time. I appreciate how hard they tried to make the video look good especially when some of them are actually sick that day too

I really apprecite your criticism and your reaction in general!! Sehun (the guy with the different color) was very distracted in that dance practice, i think is because he was learning the choreograpy at that time and he didn't know the formations well.

Thanks for reacting EXO dance practice & live performance of Electric Kiss. They're all good dancers, but of course in every group there's a main dancer and that's Kai and Sehun. And the main vocalist, Chen, D.O. & Baekhyun (wink guy) he is the fastest member who can memorize the choreo. But mostly he is not doing it 100% when he perform because he is one of main vocalist. But he knows what choreograph needs to highlight in every performance. He's a Genius Idol indeed.
