Most of us are forever complaining about the lack of fixed cam dance practices for SM groups recently. Sometimes they do, a lot of times they don’t; it’s a minor annoyance but still irritating when trying to learn or analyze the dance.
Exactly. I miss the old days when SM would just used fixed camera for their dance practice videos and then the usual cuts when releasing the dance version videos of their MVs...

It would be cool if you could react to more WayV /NCT dances (WayV is a subunit of NCT; instead of me writing a whole explanation essay, I suggest you do a quick wikipedia search on NCT lol). I personally think NCT's 7th SENSE is one of their top choreos that I think you would enjoy that as well; and one of the members in WayV is in it too.

Would absolutely love to see a reaction to Don't Wanna Cry - it put them on the map towards being one of the most notable dance performance groups in Kpop and I consider them the most synchronized group right now. Also: the members themselves are responsible for almost all of their choreographies!
You should react to ATEEZ! If you want to watch other groups, I recommend ATEEZ because they're strongly hip-hop influenced. I suggest starting with Hala-Hala since that's probably one of their hardest dances and I think you'd really appreciate some of their transitions/levels/etc.
also please consider reacting to ten (the member in the bucket hat in this video) on hit the stage! it was a dance competition program in 2016 that he participated in and his performances were really, really good
Lucas is one of my favorite when it comes to facial expression while dancing. I mean, I can tell what's the whole story of the song just by seeing his expression on stage. So much swag. But he's the tallest member of the group also 182cm or something. Feels funny sometimes to see he's struggle to control his movement to match with his other members who's 5-10cm shorter than him XD
WayV as an extension for NCT Universe in China have almost the same quality with their other subordinates in S Korea, my favorite dance practice of them is definitely "Take Off"
I think the reason the camera was angeled was since it was a practice video, its to show a view what the formation of dancers of back dancers looks like. Especially since many kpop fans do kpop public dance covers, even regular fans like to learn the chroeo so it makes it easier to understand the placement of each member
Hi! You could try WayV - Bad Alive Dance Practice since the camera work there was stationary. Take Off and Moonwalk are really good too but the camera zooms in and out as well.
At 4:28, the reason why he didn’t go down isn’t because he ‘didn’t get the memo’, but because it was his line - you need to remember that with kpop/cpop the person whose line it is will often be in a different position to the rest of the members in order to bring focus onto them! Otherwise, good video!

Because watching this , I just found out that they changed the choreography at the end. After "5432.. stop rewind..." . The rehearsal ver looks better & way cooler. Maybe they changed it for stage purposes.
Wassup! I just binged all of your reaction videos and I love the way you are able to pick up the little details!! I love me a good dance practice and although I have watched some dances over and over again, you still show me small details that I might have missed out on. I would like to apologise in advance for how long this comment is going to be but I thought that with the dances I recommend it would be good to know why I am recommending them. My recommendations for some future reactions would be: Any SEVENTEEN dance practice. I'm sure you have probably had a lot of recommendations from other people to react to SEVENTEEN but it is for good reason. Those boys are not only amazingly synchronised but they also choreograph their own dances. In regards to my favourite dances by them, I would probably have to say 'Very Nice' because of the fun they have but are still able to pull it off so tightly, 'Don't Wanna Cry' because of the amazing floor choreo for the first chorus, "Hit' or 'Getting Closer' because of how hard-hitting it is and 'Snap Shoot' because although the dance isn't necessarily hard the way they interact with each other is really fun to watch Another group would be ASTRO. These guys aren't as well known as SEVENTEEN but they have been rising in popularity lately. They are also quite synchronised but compared to most groups they seem very light on their feet. The dance practices by them that I would recommend would be 'Again' because, like 'The Eve' by EXO, they do quite a lot of texture changes, 'Hide and Seek' because the amount of intricate formation changes they do is amazing and 'All Night' because of the amount of floor work A.C.E is another fantastic group when it comes to dances. They are focused more on the hip hop side of things which I think is the kind of dance you do. I would recommend their debut track 'Cactus' because the dance seems to never have a break, and their most recent track 'Favourite Boys' because some of the imagery that they use with the backup dancers is quite cool And finally, I would like to recommend Taemin. (The song that started this trend is called 'Lucifer' and I would also recommend watching that. Although in the dance practice not only looks like it was filmed on a potato since it was 10 years ago but Taemin's shirt and the camera don't really like each other). In my opinion, Taemin is one of the best, if not the best, dancer kpop has to offer. I would recommend 'Move' as it looks simple but as soon as you try and do it yourself you realise how difficult it really is because of the insane amount of body control that is required to pull it off and 'Criminal' because up until the first chorus he has his hands tied together so it is really cool to see how he can use his body without that much movement of his hands

idols perform a bunch of times so if the dance practice is not the best to analyze you can try searching for some key words in order to find steady cam like "fix/fixed version" or "full fancam"
as a dancer, you'd probably be interested to watch any of the dance performance videos from Ten (plus his music videos)... he's the one in the bucket hat, and in all probability, Kpop's best dancer. period.
nct 127 - wakey wakey dance practice is the most complex choreo of a group ive ever seen js (not because of the steps but because of the sequences and energy needed to execute it)

Ayy welcome to NCT universe! Wayv is well known for their groovy move, if you're interested more in heavy hip hop style I recommend you NCT127, NCT Dream and NCT U. they're all kinda from the same group.
Complaining about the camera work is a staple of k-pop fans. They often zoom in so much on the person singing at that moment that we miss key moves or cool footwork.
you should check out Taemin - Move the dance is really nice and has been covered quite often. also i dont think theres the moving camera issue HAHA so u wont be annoyed by that :D
Btw, I suggest watching Take Off by Wayv if you decide to check anything else by them. It's immaculate as well. Can't decide if I like that dance or this one better.
I love so many groups and solo artists for many reasons. I always love though when dance is used to tell the story. A lot of times without lyrics we have the music and mvs mood, vocals and the dance to help us feel the song. One of my favorites choreographers in kpop is a guy called Hoshi. He is the leader of the performance unit of a group called Seventeen. I'm sure you heard of them by now since you are reacting to dance. I really love all their dances. A cool thing about Seventeen is that they are beastly completely self produced. They also have 3 units.. vocal, hip hop and performance. Each unit has a leader. The vocal leader Woozi is largely responsible for song production. S.Coups, the leader of hip hop and the group as a whole. Writes a lot of lyrics. Hoshi and most all the members of performance di choreo. Anyway sorry..lol. so I think it would be nice to see you react to their synchronization... but don't let that fool you into thinking they don't also add in their personal styles. They have been working together for a long time before debut and after. They have such a cool kind of brotherhood about them and I think it adds to their trust in each other during dance. Also they have a huge gap in heights with 13 members. They make such interesting pictures. It's hard to choose 1 thing to react to. There are songs that everyone will ask for like Dont want to cry. Freaking sick isolations... but ive seen so many react to it. I would love for you to react to Home. Something about it is so satisfying to watch. I kinda would like a pro opinion on what that might be outside of good dancing. Another amazing dance that is supremely unique is Fallin Flower. It's a Japanese single. One of the most beautiful mvs but also the dance is the kind you can watch from any angle.. including aerial. Another cool thing about Seventeen is that they don't tend to repeat anything exactly...like a chorus choreo. Also, straykids, ateez...A.C.E., Everglow.💗 sry it's a big block of text. My husband hates that I do that😣 also..I probably made some crazy typos or auto made some weird word substitutions. Anyway.. I just wanted to ask you to react to Home. Lol oh and most Seventeen dance practice are fixed. Some newer ones aren't but they usually make one fixed. Oh and I enjoyed your reaction. Ah, for sure. You'd be surprised at the amount of us fans that don't like those kind of dance practices either. Lately SM (this group's company + others) has been very extra with their dance practice uploads when there is honestly no need. Choreos like this are sick on their own and I can attest that this choreo is truly REALLY good. I don't get it because sometimes they upload normal videos, sometimes it's videos like these, and sometimes they straight up don't upload dance practices at all. Out of all companies they seem to be particularly picky about the dance practices that they upload bc some of their groups (like red velvet) have little to none, when everyone else in the industry are happily uploading all their stuff. Anyways. Rant. Great video! I subscribed.

Complaining about the camera work is a staple of k-pop fans. They often zoom in so much on the person singing at that moment that we miss key moves or cool footwork.

I love so many groups and solo artists for many reasons. I always love though when dance is used to tell the story. A lot of times without lyrics we have the music and mvs mood, vocals and the dance to help us feel the song. One of my favorites choreographers in kpop is a guy called Hoshi. He is the leader of the performance unit of a group called Seventeen. I'm sure you heard of them by now since you are reacting to dance. I really love all their dances. A cool thing about Seventeen is that they are beastly completely self produced. They also have 3 units.. vocal, hip hop and performance. Each unit has a leader. The vocal leader Woozi is largely responsible for song production. S.Coups, the leader of hip hop and the group as a whole. Writes a lot of lyrics. Hoshi and most all the members of performance di choreo. Anyway sorry..lol. so I think it would be nice to see you react to their synchronization... but don't let that fool you into thinking they don't also add in their personal styles. They have been working together for a long time before debut and after. They have such a cool kind of brotherhood about them and I think it adds to their trust in each other during dance. Also they have a huge gap in heights with 13 members. They make such interesting pictures. It's hard to choose 1 thing to react to. There are songs that everyone will ask for like Dont want to cry. Freaking sick isolations... but ive seen so many react to it. I would love for you to react to Home. Something about it is so satisfying to watch. I kinda would like a pro opinion on what that might be outside of good dancing. Another amazing dance that is supremely unique is Fallin Flower. It's a Japanese single. One of the most beautiful mvs but also the dance is the kind you can watch from any angle.. including aerial. Another cool thing about Seventeen is that they don't tend to repeat anything exactly...like a chorus choreo.
Also, straykids, ateez...A.C.E., Everglow.💗 sry it's a big block of text. My husband hates that I do that😣 also..I probably made some crazy typos or auto made some weird word substitutions. Anyway.. I just wanted to ask you to react to Home. Lol oh and most Seventeen dance practice are fixed. Some newer ones aren't but they usually make one fixed. Oh and I enjoyed your reaction. Seventeen uses the x formation in an interesting transition in dont want to cry... it's what prompted me to comment. Ok im done...sry my age and coffee is a bad mix. 😎

PLUS, most if not all the dance practice videos are wide shots and it doesn't move so you can see every little detail of the dance.

Ah, for sure. You'd be surprised at the amount of us fans that don't like those kind of dance practices either. Lately SM (this group's company + others) has been very extra with their dance practice uploads when there is honestly no need. Choreos like this are sick on their own and I can attest that this choreo is truly REALLY good. I don't get it because sometimes they upload normal videos, sometimes it's videos like these, and sometimes they straight up don't upload dance practices at all. Out of all companies they seem to be particularly picky about the dance practices that they upload bc some of their groups (like red velvet) have little to none, when everyone else in the industry are happily uploading all their stuff. Anyways. Rant. Great video! I subscribed.
