Thanks for reviewing this. I find it strange that a company like Optimum puts out several new products and very few detailing channels review them. But I am wondering if the surfactants would cause water spots. One thing I love about ONR is that I can easily wipe off water spots if it dries on the surface.
@tommyholt3465 a lot of detailing channels only follow the hyped up stuff or are closely affiliated with certain brands to keep pushing their products. While I have a handful of brand affiliations, they all know that I will always give an honest review and I'm always on the hunt for new stuff on the market. The instructions on this say if it dries just wet it again and it comes off.
Nice review and demonstration. How have you liked both of these so far if you’ve already tested Touchless Decon? I’ve tried both recently and felt like Touchless Decon served more purpose, especially when taking off heavier contaminents like sap, bird bombs etc, whereas Hyper Foam felt like a “luxury” version of ONR. Thanks again for the review.
The wipe off seems so much harder with the foam and sponge. Not sure I see the value in foaming it on. But seems like another great rinseless/waterless option
@@debtennis1301 correct that is why I mentioned that I advise against pre treating with foam unless you want to do a waterless wash method and have a lot of towels. But there are so many ways you can use this. Find a method you like and stick with it!
American Detailer Garage product that is similar is called FUZION. It was the first foaming rinseless wash introduced several years back by them. It's a good product and smells wonderful. Sort of like a Tropical scent. The only problem with FUZION is the dilution ratios are a lot lower than ONR or the normal 256:1. Fuzion is 64:1 for rinseless. Works well, but costly. As far as this new ONR Hyper Foam. That stuff looks like a DUD. They need to re-engineer their formulation. Another RUclips detailer did a video on this (I think it's called The Outdoor Detailer, and he even said the same thing....ONR Hyper is a DUD. He used Feynlab Pure Rinseless V3 and it foamed up real well and it's not even marketed as a foaming rinseless wash. ONR Hyper didn't produce any foam, just a runny mess. Take a look at his video. He did a comparison against Feynlab V3 and it blew away the competition.
@joevanseeters2873 i don't see how it's a dud, clearly has multiple use cases so very versatile, and it clearly foamed here. Feynlab is good too just not slick, I don't think they use polymer in theirs.

It's just not producing a lot of foam for being called HYPER FOAM which implies that it's super foaming. The foam looked more like what comes out the end of a hose end garden sprayer. But if it's slick, and wipes off effortlessly, maybe. I guess it's personal preference. The price is certainly good for a large bottle. Some others are more costly. Feynlab is probably more surfactant based. It's similar to their pure wash.
@joevanseeters2873 the foam definitely wasn't like a garden sprayer, that stuff instantly runs off because it's too watery. Initially I just hadn't had the sprayer pressurized properly.
Ivan had nothing to do with originally developing rinseless wash at onr . It was developed by DR David Ghodoussi Yvan was the salesman. Other than the red sponge, which was junk, what were the many other things Yvan developed there.
I could envision this product being sprayed on a dirty, dry vehicle and let dwell for a couple of minutes. Rinse, then use a regular rinseless wash technique. Similar to Optimum Decon.
I think I'll try DIY's product. Been using ONR for years. I like the way he explains how to use his products.
Appreciate the review. Gonna grab a bottle now.

I just bought Hyper to presoak and Im going to try it with a bucket of ONRWW as I think thats the perfect combo. We shall see.

@BrandiniLoL haven't tried touchless yet, weather and my days odd haven't lined up quite yet, but hopefully soon
Can't wait for you to foam up the decon wash!
Great video as always 👍 It really does look like some sort of waterless wash when foamed on.
Great video love the new red color too!
definetly looking forward to rhe decon one
Kind of interesting. I like Rinseless because it’s very portable. Not sure if I’d want to foam a rinseless but may consider trying it out.
Rx - 78 - a machine worth dying for! I would totally wash it with rinsless

Are you making a video about the optimum touchless? I’m curious about that product
@averagedadgarage03 yes i will be once the vehicle is dirty enough to show results
@ nice. Thanks!
Does it show any streaking after 30 min or when you pull out into the sun after you're done?
@@bryangrant9282 not that I noticed. Might happen in more humid weather.
It's probably your towel fluffy drying towels streak
So foam on, rinse off with rinseless then wash as normal?
@@GoTMLGo1967 you could do it that way

You can literally see beads of ONR encapsulating dirt and suspending it in videos
