I’ve noticed the following when Shroud plays.
    1.) He’s calm under pressure.
(He can accept taking L’s from time to time.)
2.) He’s never alone when he plays.
(Always has team mates calling out targets and objectives to him.)
3.) He can slow down his heart rate with breathing.
(Makes for more accurate shots on target. No jitter.)
4.) He never runs out in the open unless his team mates are watching him or there’s cover to run to.
    (Smart moves.)
5.) He has great knowledge of the maps he’s playing on.
6.) He plays games that are similar to each other.
(Ex. Valorant is similar to Counter Strike.)
7.) He rarely plays on the high ground.
(Makes it harder to escape and makes you an open target.)
8.) He sticks to the gear and weapons he’s familiar with.
    (Aka rifles and snipers)
    9.) He’s patient.
10.) He keeps track of where his team mates are around him.
(The closer you are the easier it is to assist, provide backup and provide supplies when needed.)
    etc.
Shroud is very entertaining to watch.
I learn a lot by watching him play any game.

Your reaction time slows down when u hit a certain age in your early 20s then your brain starts to rely on experience and memory. I think he had perfect timing. He had been gaming all his life, and before his brain developed any further, he was in a CS go tournament dealing with a lot of pressure, and had tested his life skill to its peak. When he clutches most of his plays that's why you dont see him all that excited, nothing else will amount to the pressure he felt at the CS Go tournament, and nerves are conditioned to react naturally like, I hate to say, an aimbot. He does miss his shots sometimes, that let's him know not to sleep on his aim so it won't deteriorate.
I'm not saying this like I know him. This is just my analysis

the best way to get better at gaming, or anything in life in general, is to practice that thing. actively think about what you’re doing and why you’re doing that specific action. and anytime you lose or make a mistake, stop and reflect on that last game or last action as to why you lost. the more your conscious mind is aware of possible mistakes the more it gets transferred to the unconscious where your muscles will start reacting to situations on their own. each person is different so someone might pick up an activity and master it in a month, or if you’re like me it’ll take months, or years to improve. it’s a process but anyone with persistence and patience can do it

      @romarainwork2676 6 лет назад +3

Blabla, that's bullshit. I've been playing FPS on PC since 2004, and never reached such a cheater level. Stopping and reflecting on why a guy shot yourself on the back doesn't learn you anyhting usefull, because if you "learn" to watch behind you every steps, it doesn't prevent you from being shot... from the back again ! Unluck is unluck, and hoodoo is hoodoo. Same thing for shots coming in front of you : stopping and reflecting on why does the guy killed you first while you shot first, doesn't prevent you, even by training your aim, your "pointing" or so-called "tracking", to be dependent from your fucking hardware (mouse, keyboard, graphic-card and frame per seconds, screen size and its refresh rate).
Everything except basis training of reflexes and progressive knowledge of multiplayer FPS survival rules (macro-moves, rushing philosophy, quick-lean followed by quick-scope, flank supervision, feeling of what will happen, etc) is dependent from two things : luck, and hardware. If you don't understand that, you can't see how SHROUD and all those bastards are just lucking all the time.
Watch again his videos, and spot how 99% of time, people are not shooting at him, are always turned from sides, or how he spots them as if he had a fucking wallhack, "sensing" people while in fact he's just relying on probabilities that anybody would be there, and pre-shooting like a douchebag crossing his fingers and imploring luck and gods to aim a theorical target. Try it for thousand years, you won't success like him.
Not mentioning that he constantly move his mouse in a mix a precision and a mix of luck by turning his view on direction where nobody is supposed to be (a good exemple on this video at 00:15 where he ONE-SHOT a player in the head by a window), and shooting instantly like a "natural" thing like if everybody should "naturally fire" on each movment of his mouse when turning 90° on the left or on the right. This guy is just luck and luck and luck all the time. If we had to mimic him, we would fire every five second in the air. Did I mention the fact that he curiously encounter ennemies in periodic and geometrical layouts that make him play with their heads like a 8 years old kid at funfair ? Or that he strangely engage 3 people from various directions like a chain, from 00:07 to 00:13, giving us the impression of a cheat : the second guy on the windows could be spotted by any good player with training of his peripherical vision, but how did he decided to watch back on the top of the roof like if he knew a second guy was over there ? And of course, he has the same "intuition" with the guy at 00:15 just after that triplet, as if gods was serving him a sweat dessert... Is this guy channeling with aliens, or will you admit this his constant luck ?
Even when a part of him is focusing on a target in an acceptable situation where he spotted something "non-cheat-likely" and decided to aim it not in a millisecond but in a second and a half, his talent (that EVERYBODY has, including me) doesn't explain how people die so fast like if they were noobs engaged in a fake bloopers video, and like if situations was constantly building a victory for him. We all train, I train, we all have talent, I have too, we all endure some serious situations where our talent express itself and our incredible fast reflexes show up, but we won't never, NEVER, have the luck of this guy. We would never kill like he does with double-barrels even by having exactly the iron-sight on our opponents like him. Luck is luck.
Players like Aculite are more near to what we all are, natural, imperfect and fallible, with a little improvment of skill due to a constant everyday competition-like training, but with common chances to die in shitty situations and doign mistakes. While Shroud, except from a few video rushes showing him experiencing this kind of bad-luck (mostly from vehicle accidents or campers hidden behind a door) is not even close to know what "regular shit" or "hoodoo series" is. He never (or rarely) experiences backshots, while we all suffer from them in all our sessions ; and turning constantly on ourselves like a fish-eye won't solve it.
I could kill Aculite, face to face, in a regular fight. But I couldn't kill Shroud. Even if I was stalking him since 15 seconds, the moment I would hesitate and ask me if this is the right time to shoot him, he would turn back the moment I decide to shoot, and completly unaware of my presence the second before, would one-shot me in the nose while talking on his microphone and he would keep going like if he was never disturbed from the flow of his twitch-stream.
This guy is a lie. He will never know what life his, and never see himself truely. And you all fanboys too.
      Period.
Stop wanking on suckers, and watch your dark circles of bullied victims in the mirror. You're not designed to be a lucky bastard.
Go grab some real heros in Art or in Science.

Coming from someone who's been playing shooter games for 15 years.. started when I was 9, was homeschooled at 10 and when I had free time I'd play games.. I'm 24 now.
If I could break it down here's what it would look like from a shooter game player's perspective
Hand-eye coordination and reaction time which develops at a young age
Confidence with shooters which comes from time playing.. confidence under pressure, in your snap shots, situational awareness
Learning the game's system, mechanics, exploits, maps, recoil..
Meshing your play style with the game's objectives, modes.. whether it's team death match which ironically isn't that team based, at least from cod.. one guy goes 59-2, team goes 6-12 5-10 2-8 2-4 1-15 and he ends up winning 75 to 49.. or battle royal games which requires communication skills, knowledge of call outs, directions, locations, guns, ammo, specials
For what it's worth. Cheers 🍻👍🏻

Someone could put in 10 hours a day for 10 years and still not be as good as shroud. It's all down to how well your brain works, your reaction times, eye hand co-ordination. Some of this shit you can just never develop to his level. And as you get older, your reaction times will get slower. Shroud has an uncanny ability to move his mouse to his target without re-adjusting. He just hits it first time. Most casual gamers will move to the general direction oftheir target, but will have to make some micro-adjustments which cost time. Shroud rarely has to do this. It's a very special talent. That is why he is so good.

Sean Ó Briain all csgo players can do that. Spesial talent, not so sure. These guys have 20k hours or more. I do have some nasty shots as well, not at shrouds level but I do have some simular shots from time to time. I have 1k hours in total on PC! I do feel like I can be almost that good if I had 20k hours but who knows? :p

It's like with anything else you got to have a passion for it or no amount of talent in the World will matter. Shroud hit the "Jackpot" when it comes to gaming from a genetic standpoint (mostly how quickly he can process information, etc..) but just as or even more importantly he actually enjoys what he does.

Shroud im surprised you dont know exactly why. Ive been playing cs since 1.6 since i was like 13 im 25. I played other fps here and there like cod on modern warefare 2 and my team was ranked 3rd on gamebattles only playing for 4months. The reason were good at all other games is because we play cs. Cs is so much harder and takes a lot more skill and strategy and team work then other games. So when you go to something where all you have to do is aim at them and hold down mouse1 it is a piece of cake to long time cs players. Thats my opinion atleast. What do you think?

I hit diamond rank on CS:GO, and i hop onto Rainbow Six Siege& overwatch & apex and it literally is worth nothing...
Your completely over evaluating CS compared to other games...
I'm stuck in silver in all 3 of those games, because i always get stuck with random ass nobody for teammates who suck dick for a living
      On aimlabs, i am a Diamond-Plat player!
I have about 94% accuracy.. but it doesn't matter since the games are fucking rigged and broken.. For example Rainbow six siege's hitreg, doesn't exist..
Overwatch never fucking works because our team needs an actual defense... but who the fuck picks an actual decent setup to win the game
And Apex.. where it's literally a game of who got the TripleTake/Longbow & R-301 first.. because once you have that combo.. it's impossible to lose, like if you lose with that setup... your a fucking disgrace to society
