All I can say is, nurses who have their parents to back them up when it comes to exam, review, application fees are so lucky. My parents barely have money for this so I have to shoulder everything on my own. Minsan nakakainggit na lang talaga na macompare ko yung sarili ko sa mga colleagues na may sponsor sila sa mga ganyang bagay. I'm working as a nurse and to be honest yung salary ko is meager enough to enroll myself sa mga review centers, pero di pa din ako nawawalan ng pagasa kasi I know lahat ng pinaghirapan ko will be worth it in the end. So laban lang! All I can say is hanep na ko magbudget ngayon lol. So ayon, nursing is no joke dapat talaga may pera ka if you want to be successful outside the PH. Laban lang nurses!

umm hi po! I'm a Grade 11 STEM student, and I've been considering BS Nursing and to pursue the road to RN. I've been researching and watching videos regarding this.
All I want to know po, is it worth it po ba, based on your experience? Lalo na po to stay as a PH nurse and not need to go abroad? Ano pong mga problems na na-encounter niyo?
I really want to do my best in this career kung kukunin ko nga po, pero I just want to know what I'm getting myself into din po. Thank you po and sana maka-reply ka po dito hehe💞
@@yue7760 If you want to be a Nurse.. you have to have "nursing blood" in you. What does that mean? You have to love the profession and everything that goes with it. It's a challenging course, if it's your calling.. GO for it! Good luck! 👍

Maraming papasa and maging registered nuirse but the challenege is kaya mo bna talaga..physically, emotionally and financially,. alam naman natin kung magkano ang sweldo ng nurses dito. but i don't know we have this inside feeling to push through. kung baga keri lang basta love mo ang trabaho mo. been 120 yrs working as a nurse? if you ask me? kung ano ang nasa puso mo sundin mo. but mind you NURSING IS NOT A WHITE COLLAR JOB. WE WORK ON DISGUSTING AND GROSS THINGS BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY--THANKFUL TO BE GOD'S VESSEL OF HIS HEALING HANDS.

Your video reminded me of my NCLEX days. Struggle of reviewing, I was pregnant with my 2nd baby nun nag rereview ako. Took the exam in Saipan. Yung story mo about the question sa exAm ay pareho ng struggle ko, I finished the exam in 4 hours up to question 264, mantakin mo yun dami ng tanong, kaloka! Tapos Cali pa ako, ang Tagal ko nag intay ng result. I'm thankful to the Lord for the guidance na nakapasa ako, Dahil siya Lang talaga ang pag-Asa ko. Tulad mo dasal to the max ako. Those were the days.... Now I'm an RN is US or 9 years na....

I was 36 pregnant when I took the NCLEX. Imagine all the discomforts. But I was blessed to pass it on my first try. And also may toddler ako nun. But it's all worth it :)

USRN here!!!! Pero bago ko naabot to, para akong dumaan s butas ng karayom...but with God's grace, na-take ko ang NCLEX with confidence that I passed it, and true enough, nung nagcheck n ng result is passed ako. Just remember, with God, everything is possible!😇😇😇

Hello ate mae. Share ko lang. I am a senior highschool and an aspiring ytuber and a NURSE. Sa college kukunin ko po ay nursing, and naka plano na po na I will go to New Jersey kaya sobrang interested ako dito. Waaaaah kinda intimidating pero grabe so encouraging at sobrang nakakabilib. And walang keme, bigla akong naiyak. Dko din alam. Basta tumulo nalang luha ko habang nanunuod. Ang inspiring. Sobrang galing ni Lord sa buhay mo and I am grateful for that. Congrats ate! Planning to take NCLEX too. Yep senior high palang ako mga mami pero desidido nako sa kursong gusto ko which is nursing or baka mag pursue pako ng MD ewan depende sa budget HAHAHAHA pero if nursing lang talaga ang kaya ng budget I'll save my money for NCLEX you know. For future purposes. Just in case na in the future is balakin kong makipag sapalaran out of this country at least ready na tapos na struggle sa exam keme keme

Hi! NCLEX passer here too last Dec 2016, and i highly recommend Mark Klimek talaga! Sobrang galing nya.. nagreview din ako sa URC lalo na't working ako and they offer weekend reviews, after that i registered to UWorld for a month and i answered all the questions pero UWorld helped me a lot talaga, grabe ngarag ngarag din ako when i remembered that time kasi nagwowork ako and to think may OT pa kami nun hahaha. Torture talaga! Goodluck guys! And congrats Mae!

Congratulations po 😍😍😍I'm not a nursing student. I'm a tourism graduate and nakikinig ako sayo yung kamay ko pawis na pawis . Yung tense mo feeeling ko na feel ko din. I was supposed to shift nursing when I was 2nd year but unfortunately hindi ko napanindigan kasi i was unsure. And takot talaga ako madisappoint yung parents ko knowing na mahal ang mag nursing hindi biro. Pero I'm still proud kung anong natapos ko. Wala lang naeexcite lang ako because my bestfriend gail is a nursing graduate and nag rereview na sya para sa bar exam . And wala basta super proud ako sakanya and super proud din ako sayo Mae. Joy De Jesus Hi! Pumili ka muna nang state na gusto mong puntahan and pag practice.san as Nurse then look at their website kung ano mga kailangan mong gawin para maging eligible ka to take the nclex. I suggest wag ka muna sa California kasi ang mahal2x talaga tapos expect mo na lang na magbabalik school ka pag di mo nakuha yung case mo the same year nang pagkuha nang subjects related to the cases. Ang pinaka mabilis is Hawaii, NMI, and Texas. 😊

I felt so horrible after the exam and thought I didn’t pass especially when my screen turned blue after the 76th question. But to God be the glory at talagang sa awa ni God nakapasa ako. I’m based here in Cali and currently working in Labor and Delivery unit! I love my job! I am a teacher and wala po ako planong mag Nurse, out of curiosity, i found my self here sa Di biro maging Nurse Ep 3 :) natapos ko dn Ep 1 and 2..wala talagang madaling work hehe.. and sobrang bow down ako sa mga nurses dahil nakita ko dn struggle nila pag nasa work na. Bumaba noon potassium ko ng 1.5.. kaya bongga yung sakit ng gamt na itinurok sa dextrose.. nag iiyak ako like nakalimutan kong 25yrs old nako haha sobrang natataranta si nurse sakin kasi tlgang nagwawala ako, nagmadali syang kumuha ng hot compress para kahit pano mabawasan yung pain .. halos ayaw ko sya makita, kasi sobrang sakit nung gamot na binigay nya saken.. and take note.. sampung potassium yun.. so 10hrs akong nagwawala haha but then super thankful ako kasi kahit ganun nako..ndi nya ko pinapagalitan .. panay sorry nya pa sakin kahit wala naman syang kasalanan talaga hihihi love love NURSES.

I cannot stress it enough. You do not need a review center to pass the NCLEX. I did it on my own, studied 5-6 weeks, passed at 75 on the first try, on top of a full time job.
Mag NY kaaa! Ang ganda ng lugar na yoooonn! May mga dumi dumi din nman doon pero may charm talaga ung lugar na yun. Sa NJ nman, i feel safe there. So kung feel mo mag NJ for sure weekly nasa city (NY) ka. So parang nag NY ka na din!

Hi Ate Mae! I already took my exam last June 1, 2018. And ginaya kita, habang nageexam ako, nagdasal ako, sabi ko kahit hindi na po saktong 75, palabanin niyo na lang po. I finished 265 question for 5 hours. After 60 hours, I got the result. And I passed!!! Im thinking din po magvideo sharing my own experience and step by step for NMI po. NMI po kasi state ko. 😊😊😊Thank you Ate Mae for the inspiration. 😊

I can relate. I'm a nurse here in the US. NCLEX is the most difficult exam in my opinion.

Karen Kim ... Eto, seryoso na talaga. May nakita akong nurse na ang height ay lagpas lang ng konti sa tatlo at kalahating ruler (3.5 feet)-hanggang puson ko lang. Kaya sa pagkakaalam ko walang height requirement basta kaya mo ang trabaho. Tsaka malawak (broad) naman ang nursing. Hindi lang sa bedside ang pwede mong posisyon. Pwede ka pumasok sa: management, teaching/education (class/clinical), community nurse, school nurse, government inspector/surveyor nurse, business (owner/consultant), at marami pa. Kung pinili mo naman ay bedside, marami din ang pagpipilian tulad ng: care home, nursing home, rehab, palliative, respite care, subacute, acute (medical-surgical/stepdown), emergency, operating room (circulatory/scrub), at critical care.
At kung kaya mo pa na makapagpatuloy ng pag-aaral pwede ka pang sumabak sa specialty nursing tulad ng: Wound/Ostomy Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Registered Nurse First Assistant, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Registered Nurse-Juris Doctor, etc.

mae! april 6, 2018 i took my nclex exam as well magkasunod pala tayo! i ended 265 item super kaka drain but yun nga laban lang basta pass! glory to God talaga na teary ako sa video mu same tayo nag review materials and experience yung lang OFW ako hirap mag self review besh lalo na pag pagod sa work nag NEAC ako para walang stress sa process....i am a dialysis nurse renal lang alam ko struggle much pag review....but glory to God we passed...pwede na ako mag resign try ko mag BPO ayaw ko mag OFW nah hahaha....ganda video mo let this serve it as an inspiration to our fellow nurses who will take the exam....Godbless!
