Isle of Man is a foreign country. Should have international customs on that terminal. I hope the Manx pay for the upkeep of this place and not us Brits.

Why would Brits pay for a privately-owned (foreign government's) asset?

The I.O.M. Government paid many millions of pounds for this new terminal in Liverpool. A great asset for the city. It didn’t cost UK taxpayers a penny.
