Hi, did you notice any focus jump/focus pulsating when you close up to the subject with autofocus on with this lens (PZ 16-35mm F4 G)? Mine seems to have the issue when I use gimbal to go in closer to the subject's face, it seems to have that zoom pump, but it is actually the focus going error for a very fast milliseconds (or looks like focusing the back of the subject in mine), and then slowly focus back to the subject, and it is quite frequent. Or sometimes it would just make that whole scene to have the shaking stutter effect for a millisecond, I had set the focus shift sensitivity to the lowest, and it still does the same effect. For the body I'm currently using A7S3. I think I noticed yours to have the same issue also at 0:18 - 0:19 the moment when you take away the kettle, the focus seems immediately jump focus/zoom pump to the window and the trees on the top right area. Also at 1:59 - 2:01 (look at the focusing on the tree at the background) 2:30 - 2:32 when you are feeding the dog (again look at the trees for obvious viewing) Attached here is an example (not my video, but a clip I manage to found online which has the same issue as mine), look at the table at the bottom area and you'll understand what I meant: ruclips.net/video/DqZnYqg3zRA/видео.html Much appreciated for your replies, thank you.
I’d probably go with something that has a zoom like the 16-35 or sigma 24-70. Primes are good but not too versatile. The sigma is also a 2.8 making it I bit better in low light
It does seem to have a good purpose. Another creator was doing instant dolly zooms on his gimbal. Mad useful for the money. Also add that the Zeiss does have OSS. Worth noting before jumping in on the new one. if it matters.
@@AntMackGoes I was using the zhyiun crane m3. I tend to go hand held a lot but mostly due to laziness lol. Gimbals definitely look better when walking though
pretty cool....I like the 17-28mm tammy, but I really miss having 35mm and that extra 1mm on the wide end. Maybe one day I will get a real 16-35mm. Great video!
Do you feel the 16-35 is a little shakier than the 20mm in active stabilization?
Seems pretty similar to me

The a7s3 has a new firmware update that gives the camera focus breathing compensation on Sony lenses and that will fix the issue.
Great vlog Kyle, showed me everything Ineeded to know.
Great video, very helpful
Can I use this on the ez 10?
Yes. Full frame e-mount lenses will work on the zve10. This one will also work with the zoom rocker on the camera
@@KyleWattsTV thanks !!
I just purchased the a7s3. I shoot vlogs documentary style. Which lens would you recommend, 16-35f4, 35 1.8, or 20 1.8

does the zoom reset after turning off the camera ?
nice review, nice weekend!!

Hey Kyle, were you using a gimbal for your walking shot?
The only time I was using a gimbal was at the 2:50 mark in the video. The other shots were all hand held
@@KyleWattsTVnice. Which gimbal did you use? You find it easy to vlog with a gimbal?

my a7iv iso ignores f4's weakness.
very good video
The Sony 20mm f1.8 is the best blogging lens to be honest the 1.8 bokeh is outstanding
Also, that dang camping pod is nicer than my house 😂
Sigma 16 To 28 Or This One???? Which One You Will Recommend????
It’s a tough choice but for me I want the extra range with the 35mm. So I’m gonna go with the 16-35
@@KyleWattsTV Yepp...Hope We Will Get This Kind Of Stuff For The Future ✨
First!!
