In this video I go over some of the many jobs I do at Everstoke as well as improving some trails.
BAR height... sitting is for wimps... and sitting is bad after riding LOL
Great points
Great work! Looking really nice. Wish I could visit and help. Best wishes from east coast.
I think you are the first to do a SUPER THANKS on my channel. I've gotten SUPER CHATS on live streams before bu never a SUPER THANKS. I really appreciate the support and can't be more stoked about that. Let me know if you ever do make it out this way. Lot's of great stuff around Everstoke. I can give the tour of our trails and some of the local stuff. Have a great day. Thanks again.
My doctor says I must have 100 hours of these type of videos per month.
👍😉
Sounds like a great prescription. 😆
Wow the place is looking great. So cool to see how you transitioned everything there.
Thank you. Wait until you see it in person
Dude, I just can’t watch that! Why are you cutting that shit by hand!? You should have a tiller by now we built that whole flow trail in five days! I need to get a new tranny in my van, but maybe I’ll have to come up with my tiller and bring my compactor and I have a new toy! A trek barrel! Load those babies into it and track them anywhere I want them to be! Also carries all the tools/Macleod Pawlowski, Pic matoc
The tiller just leaves too much loose dirt. I had to go back and backcut the trail several times. The initial cut is fast, but it took a long time before I got all the soft stuff raked to get the trail to start packing in. When I use the shovel and Pulaski, I'm left with 60% of packed ground because I didn't disturb the soil. It's just different preferences.
That’s why I said we need to put the compactor on there. The loose dirt obviously just needs to season to lock back together but it needs to be moist and chunky dirt leave for lumpy trails.
@Trail Jockey TJ Everflow was .57 miles long. It it took us five days. I had to go back and back cut and rake it out. I just cut in .36 miles in 1.5 days, and I don't need to go back to touch up what I just cut in. I did that with no ones help. At this pace, I'll be at .6 miles in 3 days. Very similar terrain. I will stick with my method. I do appreciate you showing me your technique, but I think it actually creates extra steps.
Looks wonderful up there. What is the time to the top from base camp?
If we shuttle to the top, it's only about 5 minutes. If we climb by bike, it takes about 20 minutes. From the Shredquarters to the start of Everflow is around 350 as of right now. The trail is about .57 miles in length as of right now. My next video will show why I keep saying "as of right now.""
Great video, we had a fully built out mtb course in our backyard up until about a year ago, then it changed to dirt bikes, but for those watching the milling part, you can mill wood with out an Alaskian mill, although that is a large log. I have an Alaskian and I used it for about 1 month before I realized I didn't like using it and I was shown a much easier and faster way to mill the logs, all you need is your chainsaw and a steady hand or at a minimum one to two 16ft 2X8's: ruclips.net/video/amhmRCvohfM/видео.html so don't let the mill keep you from reusing logs, you can free cut smooth faced logs, so stop those tree cutters from hauling off trees and get them delivered to your house. At one time we had 3 neighbors all cutting out multiple 24"+ pine trees. We made the tree service lunch, had them cut the tree lengths into 16ft-20ft lengths which I dragged through the neighborhood with my 81 Landcruiser and we milled all those logs into boards
Great video, I have done some cuts on smaller logs free hand. For planks on MTB features that is a great way to go. The part about the teeth all wanting to dig in while using the Alaskan Mill is very informative. I do see now why those little marks are showing up. Thanks for all the info
@@mtbingadventures1551 Here's where I first learned this method: ruclips.net/video/8qz64ELkxdA/видео.html
TABLE...big enough for a medieval dining table
We ended up doing a bar table. It is pretty fun hanging out around it.
Huzzah!
Great progress, enjoying all the updates 👍🚵🏻
Thank you very, very much
It’s really starting to come along. Impressed with all the work you’ve done. The dream is coming true 👍🏼.
Thank you, I'm stoked that you are liking all the work. Everyone that has been coming out is really having a great time on the trails and with the camping. Hope you can come check it out soon.
💖💖💖💖
Thanks
Awesome
Thank you
Does Brian not help out anymore? 🤣 Looking good,Aaron! Love the flow of the trail.
Lol, He did some trail work with me this weekend. He spent a lot of time moving the bathroom. I'm glad you're liking the flow.
Keep up the good work! Btw, your IG link isn't working for me.
Thank you and thanks for the heads up on the IG link. I'll see if I messed up on how I copied and pasted to the description box. For now you can just look up MTBing Adventures on IG. That should work
Bar!
I take it you approve. 😆
Bar height 👍
like the ridalong feature…good work 👍🏼
Thank you very much
Great trail work
Thank you
How about a bar and if some one can use a router or burn yours Brian’s #RUclips Logos then put epoxy over it 👍🚵🏻🚵🏻
I like that idea a lot. I have a router, but I'm a horrible artist. Speaking of which. We need an artist for a couple of things.
@@mtbingadventures1551 too bad @EricRhoten @MakeaWoodSign didn’t live closer. I follow their channel they are in Arizona they do some amazing routing and have done some big jobs I remembered they did a live edge table for a FireDepartment
@@mtbingadventures1551
Here is the video I was thinking of. I have enjoyed their channel and have bought router bits, letters and cut outs from them

@@k9kayaks thanks for the share. I'll check it.
@@k9kayaks Wow! That is really impressive how they do that. Maybe I'll try something much easier. LOL
