    There was one G-out I really wanted to fix before the race. In this video, I made it happen. Race line improvements are happening.

    We'll be adding a little bit more trail to each leg of the race. I came up with a game plan to make it happen. Race link below signup.bike/#/register/everstoke_2023

    Looking good and love that you took out the extreme g-out spot that almost sticks your handle bar on your grill, lol. Too bad I won't be able to help with trail work, but looking forward to the enduro 🤙

      The g-out has been on my hit list for a really long time. I kept wondering how I could make that portion of the trail really flow much nicer. I'm very happy with how it came out. I'm glad you can make it out for the Enduro race. That will be so awesome.

      @@mtbingadventures1551 For sure look forward to the change including the added work that Brian Gong and his boyz did. Cheers!

    Awesome! Looks like the trail prep is coming along well. I'll be there all day on the 16th to help you with whatever you need. Sweep the rest of the trails, put up trail ribbon, whatever. Hopefully you get at least a sprinkle again before race weekend. Did you get the rokon issues figured out? My dad *might* be willing to help out with it if you need it.

      Great! I will see you out there. I'm very excited for this to kick off and hope it will go smoothly. I can definitely use some help with the Rokon tune up. I think I figured out one of the reasons it idles strangely at times. But, it would be great to give it a once over with someone that knows what they are doing.

    Nice work Aaron! It's funny until you actually ride it sometimes it doesn't make as much sense. I made this berm Nice if I was walking it but on the bike it was way too short and sharp😂

      Thank you, I have to ride the trail sections several times until I can get a really good sense on what needs to happen. It takes me awhile to get it right.

    Norcal Kitty litter! ; >
    The upside, is this material drains quite well during the rainy season!

    • @mtbingadventures1551
      @mtbingadventures1551  Год назад

      Very true. I just walked a couple of the trails, and they did really well after all this rain we got.

    Can some of these trails be enjoyed on a DH bike? Great work BTW!

    • @mtbingadventures1551
      @mtbingadventures1551  Год назад

      I would think so. DH bike is overkill, but it would be fine to ride. The only problem is getting to the top. You'll either mostly hike up or have to shuttle. People have shuttled our trails.

    i feel like it would be easier to make a wood bridge and last longer in that ditch , that fluff around the pipe will erode pretty quickly

    • @mtbingadventures1551
      @mtbingadventures1551  Год назад +1

      Possibly, these annual creek runoffs don't get much water flow and I needed a place to put the dirt from the highest part of the trail. This was kind of a two jobs done at once type of thing. The dirt that I dug out before placing the culvert was there for two winters and was the same fluffy stuff that you saw in the video. It seemed to hold up pretty well through the harsh rains and snow. I have built wood bridges in a few spots and I don't know if it's really a time saver. I guess the simple plank bridge could be pretty efficient. I will be sure to rock the sides of the trail to prevent erosion.

    Just need some ratchet straps and that culvert would stay on that wheelbarrow no problem!
