When a comedian tells a more accurate story from Saudi Arabia than our news media today makes me happy that our comedic community is more fair and honest than our powerhouses of media.
To be absolutely fair (though main news media doesn't really deserve it) the history of the USA and Saudi Arabia in general and the politics therein is quite compromising and their royalty are not clean. But Gabriel's personal experiences with the Prince, and the Saudi people, and how we should not judge them is very valid. The way stand up comedy and other forms of entertainment are appreciated in the middle east and bringing people together is a beautiful thing.
I'm from the middle east and I'd say the media (like fox news) gives a pretty accurate depiction. You enjoy more liberties than you think you do. You can say whatever you want while here people get killed and jailed for even attempting to speak about certain subjects. Living here is especially bad for women. and there is plenty of religious persecution even in the most moderate middle eastern countries. From what i've seen they only report facts. I dont understand how people can say they portray the middle east badly.

Fox News always spread lies. Remember when most of them said about the coronavirus is nothing but a mere flu? They made fun of the virus and even one guy named Sean Hannity show a picture of 0 people got infected by the virus. Now the US currently has the most death rate in the world with more than 500,000 people positive with covid-19. This is what happen what you give false information to the people. All of a sudden they changed their mind saying they were always serious about the crisis. Same goes to their President. I feel bad for the people in the US for having such an idiot leader. I have friends living there and they are living in fear right now due to their President stupidity. For those whom still support Trump I know you will support him no matter what even if it will cost your life. Sad.

It's a shame that the world judges others based on the actions of a few. As someone who works in IT, I've worked with all sorts of people, Germans, French, English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Indian, and Middle Eastern, some of the kindest people I've met, are from the Middle East. I'll always be a fan of Fluffy's, everywhere he goes, he paints a picture of what the people really represent, rather than what our media does.
People shouldn’t rely on their own media that is full of agendas it’s not trustworthy at all the only thing you can rely on is personal experience and that’s it

And then theres this. Fluffy is great so to me this was fun watch, but its hard not to notice how hard he avoid saying anything offensive, at all. Every word, every joke, was carefully selected. If you fail to see that, then sure I can understand this felt educational and "real life reflected". Fluffy is always funny but this was alittle dissapointing to me, I wish he choosed to show some balls instead.

I worked in Bahrain and it was my great pleasure to become friends with a "Prince" before I knew who he was. After I got to know him, I asked him what is it like to be a "Prince" and he said " I will show you what it is like" and he did. I was both appalled and amazed at this look into his life. It was truly life in a fishbowl. I asked him why in the hell he liked to hang out with me because I was nobody, I never have forgotten his answer. "It's because you treat me like everyone else". I lived in the Middle East for 15 years, moved back to the states and i miss so much my life in the Middle East. So safe, you can leave your wallet , come back in five hours and find it either in lost & found or in the same place you forgot it. If i could i would move back there in a heart beat....

Back in the day, when it would be prayer time, shops would stay unlocked-even jeweller's- because it was so safe. While I do value free speech and expression strongly, I must give credit where credit is due and when I was there as a child, we could be unsure as to whether we locked the front door at night, wake up the next morning completely unfazed (in London....it's a different story!) While I hate MANY elements of Saudi Arabia on a larger scale, personally I felt safe and comfortable with almost non existent anxiety compared to my struggles with mental health issues ever since I got back. BTW, I was born in the UK, went to Saudi and came back as a teen so I know both really well

@@ThatGuyHelm its not because they hate the airplane, its an islamic custom to pray before and after performing a lot of things. Prayer when starting a travel, prayer before and after ablution, prayer before using bathroom, prayer before entering mosque, prayer before and after eating, before sleeping, before having sex, prayer after waking up etc.

I'm so sorry it is that way. I've never been to the US, but with all the US tourists and people I get to meet, I find it one of the most amazing things what a gigantic spectrum of mixes I get of body features, languages and family names, all US American. I love it! I wish more Americans would.
