Suzuki Ki Burgman Street sabse pehli maxi-scooter rahi hai abhi ke generation ke liye aur ye scooter 3 saal se sale pe hai. Aprilia ne abhi just SXR 160 ko launch kiya hai jo unki latest maxi scooter hai. I have been using Suzuki burgman since last 2 years we liked it so much that my wife also got burgman for herself. Easy to ride wide, long and comfy seat layback riding position like a cruiser bike. I get around 48-50 fuel economy for city ride
The only thing I miss is engine kill switch and a break liver which when engaged avoids bike rolling down the slope when parked. I wanted to buy geared bike at first but the comfort you get in city with gearless bike is way better and worth the trade off.
Bs6 model took care of the kill switch but the brake lever lock is dearly missed.
i m ridding my burgman till 1 month and it is givving 45 plus average in city only.....burgman is really a good and funky scooter for city which will pocket friendly as well as u will get so many eye balls😂😂
How is the suspension? How does it feel when u bump in a pot hole? ...i currently possess aviator bs4 and its pathetic
@@praneshkoul1991 suspension is between average neither too firm neither too stiff....frnt one is bit firmer but the rear one is on mid set....u will get comfortable ride in bad patches
The only problem i have with this scooty is the 10 inch rear wheel. Agar woh ek cheej hoti na toh me pakkar wahi preffer karta

Wish suzuki launches 160 or 200 cc maxi scooter with proper tyres ..
Suzuki is not so keen that it will launch such products in a market like India.
Already 150cc suzuki burgman is in R&D phase. May be another 1 year it might take to launch it in India

I bought the BS4 model back in Dec,2019. Rode 15200kms till date. Guess I am in a good position to provide a review!
Mileage is between 43kmpl and 48kmpl. Depends on the traffic condition, tyre pressure, time since engine oil change, and how fast or slow I am driving.
Now that I get paid servicing, I use Castrol Power1 Ultimate oil and getting amazing riding feel. Even if you get the original Suzuki engine oil, it will be great. Just that you might have to get it changed a bit sooner.
I have changed the rear tyre and now use MRF Meteor M. That will take care of the skidding issue and braking grip. You will feel the difference once changed. I rode on the stock tyre till about 10,500kms.
Start using Nitrogen instead of normal air. The tyre pressure remains better and mileage improves.
Top speed I achieved till date is 101kmph. But, that’s not regular. I, however, drive between 55kmph and 65kmph generally, and on open roads at around 85-90kmph. Never felt any vibration. But, remember to wear your gears if you drive at that speed.
I use a Studds Shifter full face helmet and it goes in under the seat. So, no complain with storage!
Now, here are few improvements that I wish I had.
First, the engine kill switch is dearly missed in a city! I have to turn off and turn on the engine every time there’s a long signal.
Second, the front LED headlight is just not powerful enough if the roads are bad and street light isn’t enough. I got couple of LED fog lights fitted recently just to compensate for the headlight.
LED indicators would have also been much better, along with hazard light option. Well, I got hazard console fitted as well and will change the indicator lamps to LED since the current halogen ones draw a little too much power if I have to turn on hazard for about 30mins straight.
And, finally, would have loved to have a BLUETOOTH edition back when I bought!
But, overall experience is just extremely satisfactory. And, I would not go back and buy anything else. Just remember to keep your scooter serviced regularly!
I'm planning to buy bs6 burgman but disappointed with tiny tyres, heck even my Ray zr 125 has bigger rear tyre.

Burgman can hold a full size helmet. I use a burgman and store a full size vega helmet under the seat.
I almost get 60kph in my burgman. Daily 120 km ride cost only rs. 200
Can we use 120/70-10 tyre for Bergman street. Is there any negative impact seen. Pls suggest
In city condition my bs6 burgman mileage is around 55 km and in highway it give 62-64 km..

But 125 cc Suzuki burgman can reach a top speed of 105 kmph

I'm getting 45 kmph in burgmen bs4 in city
im getting 52-55kmpl in my burgman
I am using burgman bs6 till 2months after 1st service I am getting 58.5kmpl without pillion and with speed 50 to 60kmph. I am very happy with this mileage and performance is also very good, but on bad roads it is very very bad, can not go above 20 to 25kmph, if you go above this in bad roads then you can face ratling noise on long run. Build quality is good but has panel gaps in many place, but overall it's a good deal, but having fear with battery size , and for this I mostly ride this scooter on low beam in night also in city.
Burguman is king in Maxiscooter sofar....super scooty in comfort...and speed

Burgman will fit...sxr has longer range as it has 7ltr tank but burgmann ex model has much better mileage than the burgmann base model
Italian physical models are always more good looking than others, but not the engine.

I use access125 bs6 and i ride it between 30-40 kmph speed and very rarely I touch 70(I don't like high speed) so it is good for also it gives 51-52 kmpl average

I'm so confused between burgman ex and Aprilia 160 sxr....all the practicality checks I have is checked by burgman but sxr when I saw on the road is so substantial and a head turner now it's matter of heart or head...😢pls suggest guys.

Dude I have been driving this bike since last 2 years I get around 48 - 50 kmpl if you ride with light throttle. With mix of highway and city you can easily cross 50+ kmpl if ride is riding without pillion. Now my wife also has same bike for her but she gets around 43-45 kmpl due to her riding style when I drive her bike I get almost the same 48 kmpl

Disappointments are
1. No one helps you and take care from show room and customer care service
2. High speed is 93kmph
It's 160cc not 110cc
Others will goes upto 108 like ntorq
3. Mileage in city 28
In highway 32 petrol prices also so high and increasing daily
Today's car will give 20km
4.Heating problem
When will you go 50 speed upto minimum 30km and above it will heat very high show room men will taking light and customer care service center not taking complaint I am asking who will take care of you
No one will take care about you not only this problem any problem like engine (show room will cost any engine problem upto 20,000 to 35,000) and others
5. There is pickup problem
Not so much pickup in this scooter
It's 160cc not 100cc like luna
6. Price is very high
It's price also very high like bullet 350cc almost 1,70,000 you Will get better scooty in 1lakh below in other companies
7.Not have good stability
Stability is very important in highways for not to shake with above 60kmph
8. Service cost
Service is very high double for other like honda activa
Nearly 1100 to 1250 rupees
Activa service cost is only 550 to 700
9. Lack of service centers
Service centers are very less
Like big metro cities there only 5-10 service centers are there
In districts there is no service centers
10. Aprilia will buy it's parts 5times than other because it's parts not available in outside market because it's company is monopoly in market
