So happy to see a school in another country teaching the same style and doing the exact same forms that I have been practicing for over 50 years. We are one family under our Great Grandmaster Law Kwong Yook.

I never understood something. When I look at many chin woo schools now, they teach wushu only and not sanda. Wushu practitioners know that wushu is just a dance. When I looked into the history of chin woo, (My grandfather used to train there as a kid too), it was an association to teach martial arts, like 7 star praying mantis, eagle claw ect. Wushu was born after the cultural revolution and has no fighting application. So, in this style, 7 star praying mantis, do you consider it wushu? Are the movements you do above just a dance? Or do you seriously think that it is used for fighting. Also, do you ever do any sparring to test out its effectiveness? I just cant understand.
Oh and im a mixed martial artist, and am pretty sure it works as we fight in the cage.

Μaybe you have not idea my friend about modern and traditional Wushu. Wushu is not that you think. Well, modern For anyone is not blind, Wushu is a difficult competition sport.....not just a dance. That's WHY you'll never learn modern or traditional Wushu. Because they are difficult for your poor.....mind. Well, enjoy your time in your.....cage. This is an "a r t " for you......

"Wu"= martial. "shu"=art, wushu=martial arts. And there are many wushu styles in China. I was a member of Chin Woo in 1970. They had 2 departments: the regular one that just taught forms & the praying mantis class that teaches forms & sparring. The fees charged for the latter was 7 times more expensive !!

@@buyungadil1 Ι was in China for many years (more than 37) and I continue to study there. There are many unknown villages with real traditional Wushu. Chinwoo lost the meaning of traditional Wushu.....many years ago.
