Thanx Doc for the great uploads...can you please make use a video on the best way to successfully get us clinic experience. Step by step applications for clinical experience
Hello doc amazing work to help IMG , Can you please make a vid about the pre residency fellowship in surgical specialties and what’s the the requirements and chances for img to get the position compared to the residency program ? Thanks
thank you so much for this great video. I'm interested in research and I've done some research but each is about a different subject. I would like to know since I've not decided what speciality I want to choose, yet, should I keep my work by doing research in any subject that interests me or should I concentrate on one field like ophthalmology or oncology.
How to gain a clinical experience? Is it okay to start after attempting and passing step 1 exam? I have done a pre cinical clerkship which comes before graduation the period of which is 1 year.
Thank you very much Dr.! Great video as usual. I have a question. I am IMG with North American Sonography Diploma and ARDMS license (Cardiac Sonography). Does it help me to get a residency in the USA ??
Hi Malke, thank you so much for your content, I have a question When you say the programs can have a cutoff of 250, me with the step2 score of 249 😢 get really nervous! Does this mean that I will be dumped out of the interview for those programs???
Each program has a different cutoff and some don't even have them. But if a program has a cutoff of 250, an applicant with 249 won't be among the applicants they see unless they have certain type of connection to the program
The fact you showed 250 to be the standard score is enough to depress people about their score including me. I would like to enjoy the facilities provided on the match guy website but at this point where a person is arranging money for clinical experience and else makes it difficult to have extra money invest in it. Is their another way to address our issues? and also I have got a B1/B2 visa and I cannot apply for paid positions so how can I expose myself to research? Is "research volunteer" a valid term to use? Thank you
Age by itself does not affect things much unless you were not doing much during gap years. Exception if someone is very old (over 50-55). But each program has their own selection criteria

Hello doc amazing work to help IMG ,

Hello my friend! You can schedule residency advising on our website to discuss that in detail cutt.ly/HB5gf05
U R the best doctor malke , thank You …
Very good doctor, you always give all answers that i want 🥰😊
Thanks alot Dr this talk is really helpful
Very good sir... I appreciate it
What about failing step 1 at the first attempt closes almost all doors for residency programs?
Do doing step 3 before matching a good idea
If you can score high
@@MalkeAsaad does it increase chance of matching 🤔🤔🤔
Are electives, observerships, researches and letters of recommendation out side from us are they accetpted by the us?
But now step 1 is pass fail we can't know exact score🤔🤔🤔
Do you have clinic or hospitals connected to your course where imgs can do research

Sure, check our one-on-one Residency advising👩🏫👨🏫: cutt.ly/HB5gf05
2 two isn't a myth , actually programs prefer even a green card holder more than an IMG because sponsoring the visa will coast more 😁
Sponsoring visa through ECFMG does not cost the hospital or the program anything
@@MalkeAsaadthank u for clarification

So basically,
As an IMG with just good score in step 2 and want to apply for IM I have no chance to match😁
The fact you showed 250 to be the standard score is enough to depress people about their score including me. Please tell about the age and year of graduation?? Does it change everything?? ☹️

Hi Malke, Im an IMG, right now working as a surgical assistant, how important would be this experience for my curriculum?
Thank you so much it’s so helpful ❤️🩹
