Quite a goal you set for yourself but you did it. They all look so cute on you. The one that surprised me was the red one that had the gray lining. Once you had it on with the boots I said 'yeah'. I enjoyed the video, you are so personal with your little attitudes.Nice.
Love how the ripply lettuce hem turned out! A lovely mini collection, fer sure. And when your kitty came by with the bird, I howled! So eager to show Mom 😹
Half of a new wardrobe in a week! The only time I planned to sew so much is for weddings or last minutes things for Halloween or the prom. When I don't plan on it, it goes effortlessly.
Fantastic dresses Lydia! Beautiful styles. I'm wondering if you used clear elastic in the seams of the heavy knit dress? It might help support the seams better so you don't have to continually alter it - very gothic looking that one! I adore the red party dress though and the green dress - so super cute!
I lengthened the sleeve and slashed and spread from the bottom, I raised the neckline and narrowed the shoulder a bit. I'll add the instructions to the file and share it with you guys, just email me at lydia@lydianaomi.com
Let’s uh-goooooo!!! Absolutely love printed florals! Also, any tips on sewing at night in terms of lighting? I find i never have enough time in the day.
Me too! I use my bright lamps which are both here, the BenQ and the Ulanzi Studio light, but mostly for good filming light, one of those or a normal lamp with a daylight bulb will due. I also have those two big mountdog box lights over my table. Hope that helps! www.amazon.ca/shop/lydianaomi/list/3JQA2SJOC28YO?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_aipsflydianaomi_BS41BSTQKHB6NC0C6XN9
@@LydiaNaomi aaaahhh Ulanzi! I know that brand, my husband is a photographer and has a few. I have two table lamps but i suppose l will need to swap out the bulbs for daylight ones. I find I’m squinting too much to sew comfortably under current warm lights. Thank you Lydia ❤️❤️
Loved this video and all the dresses you made! They all look so nice, it's made me want to sew up another Lulu with the neckline variation and a dream frock next - although occasion wise I should probably stick to my plan of a new sweater yet. Did you find a solution/alternate plan to salvage the fabric you had 2 back pieces of?
Oooo I love these! Is it pretty simple to make the skirt a full circle for the dream frock? I did the faux shirring and love the look of the fuller skirt too!
I don't know why when i opened the video i expected you to say " Hello to greatest tailoring channel on yt of all time " 😉 Happy Holidays! Wish you best
I love the high low hem look on the celeste it gives the pattern even more charm!! love the last dress as well such a simple yet elegant look I noticed your sleeves pattern pieces on the dream frock look different (like the little angle thing at the end of them) did you modify them/update the pattern ?
The sleeve is exactly the same I just sewed it right sides together leaving the underarm area open to attach to the dress. very similar to this ruclips.net/video/ypNzjo3MmBU/видео.html the back shirring: ruclips.net/video/g9XKszR2qtU/видео.html
Love this Version of the Celeste Frock! Any Chance you could link the Fabrik you used? I’ve been searching that heavy kind of knit for a while now and haven’t been lucky.
Its Simplifi Fabrics heavy rib: www.simplififabric.com/pages/rapid-search-results?q=heavy+rib its very narrow, like 23", and its super stretchy, I could have even sized down to a 0 instead of my usual 8, I also could shorten it a bit more. Its very heavy so it pulls the dress down alot. I had to get 8 half meters or 4 meters to fit everything and that was a size two so just be aware of all that!
'dancing to the tune of an empty bobbin' so real! merry xmas ❤
haha yup! thank you Merry Christmas!
I love your humour hug from Spain

I didn't think of clear elastic, I think I would be concerned about longevity for wash and wear but its a really great idea!!
Just bought the Lulu Frock. Love your version! Exactly what modifications did you make?
yes same! I'd love that option to be in the finale pattern it looks way more like something I'd wear than the og it's beautiful
