Urchin populations are also increasing because of their predators populations declining. Fish like Snapper are being overfished. Even if fisheries are legally staying within the fishing limits, its not enough. The whole ecosystem is unbalanced because of it! Its time to make a stand for marine biodiversity through more Marine Reserves and MPAs!!! If we increase the Urchins predator populations, especially endangered species ones, we don't need to get teams of people out their culling the Urchins.
