This song can have different meanings to different people.. to me, I love that the video is all skeletons, and the song is Nobody; No-body. It’s a trip of a song. And it’s a vibe

The entire album is basically about life and death. The album I personally have mixed feelings on, I absolutely love Cosmic, and I think you definitely will. There's a few others I like but some are a little out of my usual taste, but I don't deny the musical talent they have in every song. They're all great, just not my taste. People just aren't open minded enough to new sounds. I think it's a very ballsy thing to do but avenged sevenfold does it very well

Definitely have to do Cosmic or Mattel from the new album!

I've listened to this many many times. You can tell they don't have The Rev. But I love this song. Shows we're all in a matrix. Working for the man until we die. Then we're nobody to them. Rock on guys, we love you.

I was that way AT FIRST. But now this album is my favorite A7X album. Its just got soo much feeling and heart and wackiness and heaviness. Its got EVERYTHING. What throws people off is that its the reverse of what they used to put front and center in their sound. Prior to this and The Stage, it went: solos, heaviness, lyrics, creativity. Now its: creativity, lyrics, solos, heaviness. The band doesnt care about being "heavy" or being "showy" as much as they used to. And as Shadows said in an interview "this is where we are now but that may change, we have always been about changing our sound and trying new things."

Ive been hooked on this song and video for the last several weeks. I too am an old school rocker, in his early 50s. Awesome band. Another great one to react to is falling in reverse song/remake of "cut my life into pieces" (remake of the papa roach classic). Video and song are incredible. Falling in reverse (Ronnie radke) has been releasing bangers over the lst several years

Yo this is my first time seeing you guys and I gotta say this was one of the best reactions I've seen to this song. I would honestly love to see you guys react to every song on their new album listening from beginning to end. But if I had to choose I would have to suggest one of two options, Mattel or Cosmic. Mattel being probably the heaviest song on the album and Cosmic being one of their best. If at all possible, you should consider pulling up the lyrics or watching lyric videos, the songs have deep meanings and I think the discussion of each of your interpretations would be great content.
Sorry for such a long comment, I truly don't usually I just really enjoyed both of your personalities and look forward to checking out more of your content. Thanks for the video!

Old fart here, and very much looking forward to seeing them on the 24th. Yep, you need to to take a lengthy drive and listen to the album in full, it can be very proggy, but it's frigging amazing!! (and they've always been proggy to some extent). Also looking forward to seeing some of their older catalogue, as it's also amazing. All I can say is listen to it ALL and then provide your feedback.

Actually M Shadows got the idea to this song, after visiting a shamen, that made him inhale some stuff, and taking him into a so called Ego death experience, where it feels like you soul leaves your body, and you can obsterve your own human body from above, and at the same time not really feeling human..
The place at the end with the barcodes and stuff is like the promised land, everyone told you about, but it dosent really exist, lets take a example lets say that heaven is a promised land you was told is there, but maybe it isnt.. that way..
And the suicide note at the end, well you can wonder, did this man kill himself actually, or was it a Ego death experience..

M Shadows himself explains it in this interview at about 6 minutes: ruclips.net/video/Sv95xYp_AbI/видео.html TLDR, song is about DMT ego death
