    Tom MC conville did these physical warm ups before actually picking up the violin at his master class at Lewes. He is Newcastle but plays his arrangement of Irish tunes in a very relaxed style. A lot of fiddle violinists are tense when they play . I used to be but now realise I don't need to be. Adam Beanstock

      Great! Ah, I thought fiddle players to be relaxed, but I guess all musicians suffer from tension.

    I always stretch before i play, practice and sometimes taking a deep breath making sure i dont play poorly. Good thing i been staying strong physically. Hugs from America!

    Very helpful! I have bands from PT that I do a few back strengthening exercises with. Most important thing I learned in PT was NOT to move so far I was into the pain. Sometimes that means my stretches and exercises don't look like much. But as I continue I become more loose and can move farther eventually. I use Alexander technique to try to keep relaxed while playing.

    imagine having your throat cut from ear to ear,whole tougne and voice box removed due to throat cancer, major nerve, well thats me i also bow with my left hand,❤ this exercises contributing to functionality as best i can ❤❤❤❤, never ever ever ever give up ,enjoy the blessings
