I have already started my 10 blocks and they are ready, now i'm ready for the experiment, thank you for your enthusiastic explanation and what I meant by a confetti quilt, it would consist of squares and triangles and thank you for your quick response
Hi Sandy, I'm blown away by your enthusiastic presentation and your obvious talent. I'm only six months into this quilt-making merry-go-round, and most of my time has been spent on shopping for fabric and bookmarking my favourite tutorials. I'm still trying to find what my favourite "thing" is!!! I've tried a couple of applique blocks which I enjoyed immensely, and I've tried embroidering a couple of blocks (which is something I modestly admit to being quite good at and always have been), and now I'm gathering ideas for different blocks to maybe make a sampler quilt. This video may just have been the one which is pushing me in that direction and I absolutely love the numerous variations on the "pinwheel" one, and I was wondering if you did a follow-up video on the other variations you had in mind. Love your work and your oh-so-happy personality. Luv & Stuff from Oz.
Hi Suzanne, welcome! I remember that time in my quilting journey, it can be very overwhelming! I haven't made a follow up as this is a video from last week, so quite recent. But what you can do to find other variants is make a pinwheel, cut it in 9 squares as I did and just spend a bit of time playing around with it, you know, moving all the pieces, and everytime you come up with one you like, take a picture for reference. It really is that simple! Enjoy yourself and let me know if there is anything I can help you with.
Hi guys!
We're playing with Pinwheels today!! The biggest video I've ever made but so worth it!
Enjoy!
Sandy
Loved this! Making a quilt with all these combos! Thank you! God bless. Terry
That will look beautiful! Let me know how it went!
The first block you made is traditionally called the Churn Dash block, and it's a very old pattern but usually didn't have a pinwheel at the centre.
Hi. Yes, it's a more modern version with a pinwheel. I would out Pinwheel on everything if I could 😁
All these blocks are gorgeous !
Thank you 😊

Thank you so much 🥰
I am making these!❤
Thank you 🌞
I really like the way you think 🤔 and the blocks are so so cute 😍. Thanks for sharing, I would make a bigger block though 😉.
Thank you! Yeah, I would make them bigger too. Did not think this one through hehehe
@@seweasybysandy they are quite tiny in the middle 🤪
I must know what your accent is? I love listening to you talk, lol. This is super cool too!! I love all the disappearing blocks ❤
What to do with them, make some more to show and then make a quilt lol
Hi. Thank you. I'm Portuguese 😁
Hahaha. Sounds like a plan! Thank you
@@seweasybysandy Cool!
I've been watching your videos for a while and I've learned a lot, thanks for that, but what I'm wondering now is how do you start a confetti quilt,
Hi! Confetti quilts are so cute, but there are a couple of different ones, which one did you have in mind? I can totally add it to my list 😁
Do you have these patterns that I can print out or order?
Hi. I don't, sorry. But that's a good idea!
Good blocks, it's a shame that your not able to improve your sewing skills with each block you sew 😂
🎉❤😊
Too bad you couldn't make several of each one to see an alternate pattern when sewing them together
I know! I do that now but at the time it didn't occur to me 😕
Love your blocks
Thank you 😊
