nice video series! A highly recommended picture style(by me and LOTS of other movie makers) is the cine style. It gives a huge amount of details of both highlights and shadows.
Great video! Quick question, What camera do you recommend for professional music video production at a budget? What would be the best camera for the best price? Awesome videos. keep them comin!-
A project you should look out for is Magic Lantern. It is really taking off! With manual exposure and audio control, and fps control in progress, I see no reason to not try. I've not heard about any long term damaged cameras, only one or two locked 550d's. But you will always get support if something should go wrong. Take a good look at least :D
Thanks for the quick reply! Great! I will look into those cameras and make a pic! So you also recommend them for Music video production. I'm not looking into taking pictures, more videos, but its nice to have the choice if needed. So, with that being said, you still recommend them for filming? thanks in advance.
Had the 500D as my first dslr, hated it for video 60D and 5D MKII is what i use now and i love them both! A little tip you dragged out the middle too much talking about how you wanted 1/40th you didnt need to spend 2 mins talking about locking the exposure. Still thinking you should of talked about magic lantern and put it on to show what it gives you !
Your Videos are great and no doubt about it. wish you had a girlfriend instead of your best friend :) JK .... I haven't read the manual yet and still I know all about the camera and photography. just because of you. Rick you rocks
check out my first attempt - i'm proud of it :) thanks again won't let me post the link here but you can find it on our channel theHetlands called John's story blessings
Hi, That can be a few things. 1. The memory card is too slow for video use. 2. The camera will only record files upto 4gb in size then it will stop and need restarting. something to do with licencing.
very thorough. thanks. gonna give my first try on filming short clip on this camera. this was helpful

How do you focus during filming?
which compact digital canon camera did you prefer? Some canon Elph or A serie (a3300).?
Very good example.
