  • Been working on slight adjustments to tighten up my tune and set my suspension on the bike.
Every adjustment needs a ride to feel it out in different situations. I’ll be sharing my secret sauce for plush suspension in an upcoming video!

Man it’s a huge upgrade. A lot of factors I think go into getting the full potential out of it. Battery and gearing being the most important. I never really had temp issues it’s always 85 in Hawaii so my main goal was more torque and speed for hills. I have the factory spec motor that’s rated 1000 more RPM in stock so naturally, it is much faster. The two major things I noticed that made a huge difference are motor vibration. The stock motor magnets are on the outside of the tater bolted on and when you spin the gear with no chain, you can feel the magnets clunking along and causing vibration when you’re riding, which I think most riders enjoy because the bike feels like it’s got all this torque and muscle because it’s vibrating wildly like a gas bike. The way KO design, magnets are at an angle glued inside the tater and it is buttery smooth when you free spin it. so you don’t get that vibration feedback in the bike like might be used to. It winds up and screams. I had an BAC 8000 on it before and I would wide-open throttle up hills all the time pretty much maxing out the stock motor on flats and hills. I can only get about halfway into the throttle on the same hills, and it just rips up them hella smooth. What kind of riding do you do? If you ride mainly woods RS motor will be cherry, if you ride both trail and street looking for high speed and torque go for the factory spec! Let me know if I can help any way !🎉

Is the ko motor actually any better than stock ? I have herd very mixed reviews , some people saying other than less overheating it was performing worse in terms of top speed
