🎄 You should start getting Evergreen Trees (they don't shed) in planter pots with the roots and all! Then you can plant them in your back yard or anywhere! A friend does that every year & plants them in random places. 🎄

exactly... why have the tree just for fun "christmas". Dont cut it, put it in a pot with its living roots and all by the sunny window and when christmas over, plant it somewhere instead of killing it.

It's only a fire hazard if you never water your tree. It's a living tree, it needs water almost daily. If it doesn't get water it will dry out and then it becomes dangerous. I live in California where these trees are farmed and that is how tree farmers make a good portion of their money back every year. It's a nice cohesive plan to buy from local tree farms and helps the economy. To buy fake is like buying from many big manufacturers and sold at your local Walmart or home depot which is not buying local and also made from materials that are probably non-recyclable, non-renewable, and might take fossil fuels to make.
Also it goes into the dump and stays there not degrading. Real trees can be burnt or replanted afterwards. Think about it before you insult a person who decides to buy real.

Artificial trees are terrible for the environment and are very bad for climate change. Real trees just decompose in the ground and make mulch or firewood. Fake trees are made of PVC plastic.
