Haha thanks man! We can live vicariously through each other's adventures... And maybe eventually do an exchange programme with your Baxter for my cat Winchester?
@@carltanner9065 yeah I was thinking that! I suppose if I wanted to protect the highlights a bit I could meter darker for those shots, but that's the beauty of colour negative... in how much it loves light!
What a stunning, meditative video! I thoroughly enjoyed watching this from start to finish and the photos from the expired film especially turned out SO GREAT! You should defs narrate some meditation sometime hahah. Nice work babe, so so proud of you. Your work just keeps getting better and better and better 💯💯💯🔥
Loved it. Had a more relaxed casual vlog style to it all. Some really nice images, especially in the forest during the fog. Made me yearn even more for a trip out, glad you made the most of it.
What an impressive scene @7:19 with the sun that’s breaking through the mist! Beautiful pictures and beautifully put together as well. Where I live foggy days like these are rather rare - do you use an app or something to find out when it’s going to be foggy or is it just pure luck? :)
Thanks Karin! It's not very frequent here either, but out in the hills and countryside in winter it can be. I didn't use a particular app, but the general local weather forecast is often able to predict the possibility of fog, so I had seen the forecast the previous day :-) Glad you enjoyed it!
Pushing Film speaking of the devil: I watched your video over (very early) breakfast and when I left for work a bit later, suddenly it because very foggy outside. So this rare opportunity today was missed sadly, but it’s a good tipp to observe the forecast closely for the future - thanks. :)
Nice one mate. Ventured out myself last week because of the fog, can't beat it for black and white. Was trying out new Spotmatic F cam and Kentmere Pan stuff which I've not used before, looking forward to results. Keep up the videos mate.
@@pushingfilm Nice one. Look forward to your results. I pushed the 100 to 200 and the 400 to 800. Not sure how much tonal range you'll get when you push it but, will see. Keep it up mate.
Two prints?? I'd be selling a lot more of those photos if I were you. They're all good enough to sell :) Great video and what a stunning location in the fog. Keep up the good work :)
Really really loved the pace of this video. Great editing. Very smooth. I think you should do some more "vlog esque" type videos like this. You may of pushed me over the edge with this video. I wanted to try my first one soon. Oh and those Agfa shots look like stills from Jurassic Park haha. Colors were sooo good.
Thanks man! Appreciate it :-D The only thing about these vlogs is they're a pain to edit and take up a lot of time and footage hahah I don't know why I make it so hard on myself. But then I look at it like making "home movie" tapes to look back on in the future... assuming the data lives on 🤔
Just a follow up comment that I decided to slog on through, and really it was just that one spot in the beginning. The rest of the music choices I didn't find objectionable at all. That Agfa really did turn out nicely! Apologies for my initial comment, should have just been a bit more patient.
I just discovered your channel today, and this was maybe the third or fourth video that I watched. I am really enjoying your content - you do a great job. However, in this video the music you used was so off-putting for me that I stopped the video at about a minute in. The instant I hear that super cliche "millennial whoop" (yes, it has a name!) I just shut down. I know as a content creator it's hard, because you're at the mercy of whatever royalty free services like Soundstripe or Epidemic are offering. I doubt it's something that bothers other people as much as it does me - I'm probably a sort of curmudgeonly outlier in that respect - but maybe it's something you can have in the back of your head in the future. But anyway, great channel overall, I'm subbed and it won't stop me from watching your other vids. Cheers!
That was a lot of rolls! The color images were my favorites. The warm light and the greens looked really pretty. :)
It was! Thanks Eduardo 😀
I live for your content
Haha thanks man! We can live vicariously through each other's adventures... And maybe eventually do an exchange programme with your Baxter for my cat Winchester?
5:39 is amazing
Thank you!
Gotta love fog on film! That shot at 5:39 is absolutely gorgeous!
For sure! Thank you 🙂
Thosa AGFA film photos are insanely beautiful! very well done!
optima appeared just insane. found myself on ebay seconds after the first shot revealed. amazing video
So sad Agfa color film is discontinued. Optima 125 and Portrait 160 were incredible.
Great photos Hashem! Never knew Agfa made 120 film, came out so nice.
Thanks man! Yeah it wasn't near as popular as Kodak and Fujifilm back when this film was fresh..
stunning location and photos.
Lovely images. I especially like the color on that expired Agfa. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
I was surprised to see how good the colours are of the Agfa for a 20 years expired film. Look like a brand new film
I was just as surprised! I'll probably rate the rest at 50 instead
@@pushingfilm You could probably rate it at 50, but since you're getting great results at 25, I'd just keep using it at that.
@@carltanner9065 yeah I was thinking that! I suppose if I wanted to protect the highlights a bit I could meter darker for those shots, but that's the beauty of colour negative... in how much it loves light!
Stunningly beautiful photographs from beginning to end. Loved this video, thanks for sharing!
Many thanks! Really appreciate the feedback :-)
The agfa looks incredible!
Agfa. The unsung hero of film.
It was nice to shoot some of the original German made stock too!
Oh wow! What a really great video, Hashem! Winter shoots in the country are the best! Really awesome shots! That old Agfa worked out great!!
Thank you! Was great to discover your channel recently, looking forward to seeing more.
@@pushingfilm oh, thanks so much!! Working on a Kodak Gold 120 video right now!
Another great video Hashem! So many amazing photos from you both throughout the day. 5:40 especially stood out.
Thank you! that was one of my favourite shots of the day too

Some nice shots in the mist. 4:15 wins it for me. Hope the lockdown isn't too tiresome.
Thanks!
Awesome vlog. I need to go out and record more adventure videos
Thanks Kyler! I find it's a bit of effort doing both video and photo but it's worth it!
Loved those foggy shots and the house interior ones.
Congrats on this fab vlog. Really enjoyed it, & loved the location - the gorgeous black spur ! Impressed with the shots too.
Nice video. Likes the color shots. Thanks, Hashem.
Thanks for watching Richard :-)
Gorgeous colors in these images! Very nice episode, you must have had a lot of fun! :)
Thank you! We sure did :-D
I used a lot of AGFA colour and BW film in the day. Loved it and miss it. Still use Rodinal. Good work. An Aussie voice. 😀
Another superb video, this one with beautiful photos in a terrific spot
(that Agfa from 1999 really impress me)
Well done

I have one roll of Agfa Optima in my freezer and was always afraid to use it. Your shots look beautiful! Now I really want to shoot mine aswell.
Loved it. Had a more relaxed casual vlog style to it all. Some really nice images, especially in the forest during the fog. Made me yearn even more for a trip out, glad you made the most of it.
Thanks Ben!
Wow, this is so gorgeous! Well worth the early morning trip. Loved the b/w fog shots!!
Thanks very much!
Great stuff! So many good shots here.
Agfa sure made some nice film stocks back in the day. I'm particularly fond of the RSX slide film.
Thanks! I think I might have a roll of old agfa slide film lying around, I'll have to see what it is!
That was a great video with some awesome shots really want to try that optima now looks really nice
Thanks Garth! It can be fun taking a chance on some old film stocks 😁
Amazing job!

Great video amazing images
Thank you!
Mainly a colour film guy but damn those b&w shots were sick! Definitely gonna try some more Ilford stuff!
Thanks man! Yeah you gotta try them 🙂👍
the polaroids look really good!!
Thanks man! Yeah they came out as good as I could have hoped!
Great video. Peace from Houston Texas
Great images , that’s down the road from where I live, I often go for a wonder around there with my camera.
Nice! Good spot to live 👌🏼
That agfa is so nice. I've been trying to buy some rolls locally and it's been so difficult.
Loved the images immensely. They've inspired me to get out of the city and shoot the countryside 🙂
Thanks! I hope you do, I always find it therapeutic
Optima 100 is amazing, never heard about it before
It's pretty nice! When I looked it up I just found a camera model by the same name 😂
What beautiful scenery. The images turned out so good. :-D
Thank you! It was beautiful scenery indeed 🙂
Great one as always Hashem!
Thanks Herman! Glad you liked it
Agfa Optima :D so jelious. I have Afga Potrait 100

Btw, that spot around 4 minutes looks incredible! Great shots.
Thank you! Sounds good, I actually just bought some Kentmere/Harman Pan 100 and 400 to try for the first time too. Good luck with the results!

Do you shoot b/w film with or w/out colour filters?
Hey :-) the black and white film shot in this video was without filters.
Nice moody scene & shots. Reminded me for some reasons as some scene from the great movie "The thin red line" from Terrence Malik.
Interesting! I had a quick look at some info online and it reminded me a bit of Apocalypse Now... I'll have to add it to my watch-list.
great vid bro, awesome shots. I miss Oz
Hey thanks man! 😁

What lens(es) were you using on the Pentax?
Native 75 2.8 and 150 3.5, and also adapted from Pentax 67's 55 f4 and 105 2.4.

I love the fact, that you don't use Lofi Hiphop in the background

not bad
Oh yeah... I do remember that thing that "happened in 2020", hahahahahaha
stay safe with Covid man!
Why did you push your 125 film to 200? It was foggy
I had started that roll, and decided to push it before this trip. As mentioned in this video I was just finishing the last few shots on that roll.
