- Filmmaker, Nathalie Barajas made a narrative film about Mexicantown. the journey from growing up in Detroit & Mexicantown helped shape her story in a dynamic of city life in America with her heritage being part of her despite her roots being far from her motherland. She was able to perfectly capture her story with Raymond Lozano, executive director of MexicantownCDC sharing his knowledge of the history and the culture of Mexicantown with extensive research and experience of the city.
