Your grandfather, such a beautiful man was a great friend of my dad Suauu Teli from Fesoasoani Trust days. We lost our dad barely a year after your grandfather passed and I remember your dad James coming to pay his respects ❤️ such a humble and beautiful family. God bless you young man. God bless you all 😘❤️
This was very emotional. So proud of Tom's son and his grandson making this trip to see his great granddad's land and family. To acknowledge both sides is something to behold. These are the families of Kings of kings in Samoa from ancient times to now. The Royal bloodlines. Be proud and hold your head high.

Malo lava. This is beautiful, but there's more to just this. ❤
Once you learn your family roots grow deeper than u thought, it gives u more drive to go back hunting and gather as much as u can.. Relatable video & interesting enough to hear names of my ancestors (Tautaioleua & Salima) mentioned by that family matai except Malietoa Vainuupo isn't their dad. Now that left me wondering, how my forefathers got the same name as Malietoa Vainuupo's children, confused if you asked me hehe. Any bit of help to decipher this for me would be much appreciated. Cheers.!
Beautiful, God Bless You All🙏🏾
We are Savaii Faatuatua ile Atua Samoa

What a beautiful story of journey and connectivity. Who sings the beautiful song at 10.27 (lyrics are; "le susuga ia Malietoa, o oe o le tupu e fa'alogo iai o Samoa")? Manaia I le fa'alogologo. Alofa tele lava.
Ayeee Sapapali’i📍
Interesting, but I’m not sure Vainuupo ever became king of all of Samoa. He was king in his own district, that’s for sure. Nevertheless, great vid and great haka.
