Excellent work on restoring those old kitchen knives. 😊👍Thanks for sharing, take care and Cheers!
It's been a while. Just catching up on some of your videos. Been working quit alot since my work season picked up at the first of the year. I will say you get better and better with every video. Great work on those knives. God bless you and your family. Have a great night.
Glad to see you sharpening again . Thankyou
An excellent restoration as always Kyle.
I love the great work you did on my knives
We paid about the same amount of attention to the eclipse and we’re both retired lol
Seriously you did wonderful work on the restoration
God bless
Blooming into a fine machinist as well ! Nice work
Was only thinking to myself the other day that it had been a while since seeing one of your videos Kyle…..magnificent restoration of the handles. I have to agree with you regarding what is important in life is not always determined by monetary value. Thankyou for sharing.
You and Jimmy Diresta on the bandsaw, give me heart palpitations hahaha....
Sometimes tools are what you make of them, not what they're made from. Heres a prime example.
love your work
Other amazing job awesome to see you back making videos I sat your very busy how is the other side of the shop doing
As always sublime work Kyle. Beautiful.
Kyle, what do use on the buffing wheel to finish the handle? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
You're not giving much love to the solar eclipse...people in the Mid-west were having a party!
Take care Kyle
Very nice restoration. Those knives are Chinese and not too bad a quality. The steel is better than the handles. I have a couple of jobs for you and old chef knife renovation of a knife I use all the time and a handle and sheath job from a heated treated blank made by my knife making mentor, now deceased.
Nice scar!!!! Bar fight?
Watching the nut on your belt sander backing itself out while you worked away there at 12:16 was stressing me out!
Haha good eye!!
Where's the magnetic chuck and TRUE surface grinder?
First?
Thumbnail looks like you've chopped off a couple of fingers.
Indeed, very inexpensive, yet functional, knives offered by several brands, such as Chicago Cutlery. I disagree with Kyle on this restore, as an heirloom is meant to be passed on for use to acquire additional memories. Spending more money to restore an item, beyond its original cost, is simply wasted effort to bottle up memories into the stuff acquired that collects dust as a means to sit around reliving times past.
You can't decide for other people on what they value.
