    this only good on a 2 handed rod?

      Hi. You can Spey cast with a single handed rod. Spey casting is a style of casting that can be applied to both single and two handed rods. However, it is more commonly used with a two hander. In terms of this video and the use of the bottom hand, on a single handed rod your bottom hand would be your “hauling” hand. Thank you for the question. Andrew
