  • Repotting larch, styling a larch group planting and wiring the individual trees in a gentle music-only video. If that is your idea of a nice video.. Continue watching!
A gentle rebuilding of an old Larch (Larix) bonsai forest I created last year. In the end I really did not like it, and I took it apart to make a new creation.

More videos like this please. ❤ Your willingness to share your knowledge in your more typical videos is greatly appreciated but there is something extremely inspiring and soothing about just watching a master at work, in the quiet of a studio with just his trees for company.

I like this format -- calm and relaxing. The end result is a lovely composition.

Very creative. These three from the grouping, slanted/shaped in the perfect pot was very impressive, and beautiful. Next to see what you do with the remaking trees in forest you didn’t use here. You’ve given me an idea I’m going to use with several I have ready for their grouping. Keep them coming my friend.

Thanks Jelle, in my opinion needle trees (Pines) are the most difficult Bonsai trees. Your videos are very helpful.

What a jewel you have created! I really envy your ability to look at material and visualize a beautifully finished composition - something that is truly difficult for me. I would love to hear about your thought process and inspirations. Many thanks!

Can I work one one larch now, if the buds have opened a tiny bit?? I could totally leave the roots alone for the first repotting, if that would help. Nice work on those tree Jelle

That face in the beginning, thought all the trees died. The end results are amazing! What did you do with other trees, that was in the forest?

This is nice too, but personally I prefer more informative videos where you explain what and why you're doing something. Probably because I'm new to bonsai. Keep doing both, I appreciate variation =)

Nice in between video but we need you for true bonsai skills. Between growers that never want 1 plant dead and idiots that stream without updates (dead trees) we have not too many options. Quite proud some fellow Dutch guy fills the gap neatly. I truly think you are the best or at least the most insightful to me.
