I love how Nilüfer artfully creates different moods with her impeccable sense of rhythm and space and her lovely falsetto. She makes really careful, deliberate and apt choices in instrumentation, song structure, and composition. I still cannot get her gentle lilt and wistful "la, la-las" in the bridges of "Baby Luv" and "Thanks 4 Nothing" respectively off my head. Her talent is undeniable. Golden cage, Thanks 4 Nothing and Baby Luv are so well-written and performed by her, and I hope her impending LP shows more of that. Bought all her tracks
a bitt of heavy tautology there,
but otherwise a nice, good and positive comment.
How is there a falsetto? If she is an alto or soprano she is singing within the natural ranges for those voices.

I saw her live supporting Everything Everything at Nottingham, and bloody hell she was fab. To play to a crowd waiting for another band must take guts, especially to do it alone with only a guitar. She absolutely blew me away, I've never seen anyone play a guitar with such skill, I'm going to buy the album :)

Far from that in every way. Her music style is more jazzy/R&B while King Krule's rock is a bit darker and grungy, and her singing style is lighter and less in-your-face than King Krule. People like to make comparisons so that something new to them can grow familiar, but that comparison is so off. The only similarity I can think of between the two of them is that they are both awesome with the guitar
