- This is my first cabin tour, so please excuse the novice video. Since there is so little information available about accessible cabins, I wanted to show the major features of Harmony of the Seas Accessible Balcony Cabin 10-162. One thing I forgot to mention is that there are only electrical outlets/USB ports on the right side of the bed, over the nightstand, next to the couch. There is only and Emergency Call Button on the left side. The only other electrical outlets/USB Ports are located on the vanity/desk area.

You are most welcome! Traveling with special needs is challenging enough and there is not much info out there on the cabins. Some configurations work for us and some don't. I try to do as much research before booking on a ship that we haven't sailed on before and don't know why I never thought about doing these before as we have cruised for many years. You will find this cabin very convenient, especially being so close to the elevator area...direct access off the main lobby so no need to navigate the narrow hallways. You will find the staff very accommodating, especially getting on and off the ship. And, when you visit Coco Cay, they even have beach wheelchairs to help cross the sand. Check with their accessibility department if you have any special needs or requests. I have sailed on Harmony 3 times and another 3 on Oasis (it's sister ship). You will have a blast!
How do you rent a recliner? We book this cabin 11/07 my husband and I are both using schooters. Weve been on this ship in a different handicap room on the 8th floor. I cant wait to go again!!!
We use a company call Scootaround. They rent recliners, scooters, oxygen and all sorts of accessible equipment. Just give them a call well ahead of time to make sure they have what you need. It will be waiting for you when you arrive in your cabin and you just leave it there when you depart. Have fun!
