That’s a amazing cabin!
Royal Caribbean has my favorite ships and the best entertainment!
Was this a regular balcony room or a suite? Also do you bring your own shower chair or rent it? Did you think this ship is too large for a wheelchair user? I have a manual chair.
This is a regular balcony cabin located conveniently near an elevator. The shower chair is my own but it's possible for us to arrange rentals for whatever you need. As far as size, almost all ships now are 1000+ feet long. This ship and all Oasis class ships are much wider so I feel everything is not necessarily any further even though the ship is huge! If you have access to a smart drive or comparable device it would definitely make everything much easier. My manual chair using friends and clients always tell me carpeting is much more likely to cause fatigue. We can even arrange a power chair rental if that helps. Feel free to reach out anytime and keep in my mind our services are free! I eat sleep and breath travel so dont hesitate with any questions.
@wheelieawesomeadventures did you bring the bed?
I am a certified special needs travel agent and can arrange a bed rental for you! :-) sblomquist@expediacruises.com
We going on Harmony of the Seas in May and are hoping to use our Handicare pressure fit lift, have you ever used yours on a cruise?
Thats the only one I used on cruises until I received my new freestanding frame. As long as you watch out for the sprinkler and have the tabs in green you should be good.
What size room is this
This was standard accessible balcony!
Were you able to access the balcony in your wheelchair?
How did you get hospital bed?
I am certified to arrange one of those rentals for you. Feel free to reach out sblomquist@expediacruises.com
