Our first cruise was an inside cabin and my husband and I were pleasantly surprised with how much we liked it. The biggest thing was that is was so dark and quiet that we slept like rocks. We loves that, we're considering doing a balcony room now but want to know how dark it stays
I love an inside cabin for that very reason!! We had a balcony last year and that’s the one thing I didn’t care for. I love not knowing what time it is. I get thee best sleep on board.
I go on my first Harmony of the Seas cruise in July. My last cruise was 5 years ago on Disney, and before that a Carnival Cruise in 1992 I think it was. So I'm SUPER excited about this one! We have a balcony oceanview stateroom so this tour was SO helpful! Thank you!
Me and my cousin went on the quantum of the seas in sept to Alaska and it was beautiful, it was our first cruise and it was amazing, I struggled with be comfortable in the bed , I had a major neck surgery in 2019 so I took a really good twin size mattress topper, however I had to bring it in it’s own luggage but I’m an efficient packer so no problem, the beds were not comfortable at all , neither was the sofa or the trundle bed below , I don’t know if I’ll get to cruise again since that caused me a lot of pain and hindered my mobility for the day , I’m curious if other cruise line have better quality in the furniture, I did love the cruise , sitting on my balcony with morning and afternoon coffee was my favorite thing , watching the mountains from the ship was heavenly ❤from Tx🇨🇱
We had this same category of cabin on Harmony in June and ours was flipped around. The bed was closer to the door and the cabinets and sofa were by the balcony. I peeked in the rooms nearby and noticed they were about half one way and half the other way. I think I liked the version we had better. I totally missed that the desk/table was on wheels! I will add two things to your "bad" list: my son slept on the sofa "bed" (it doesn't actually convert into a bed; they just put sheets on the actual sofa cushions, and he hated it. He said it was very uncomfortable for sleeping. Also, our room attendant never turned it back into a sofa during the day, even when I specifically asked him to! This happened on our cruise on Mariner of the Seas too, so that's something really frustrating if you have more than two people in the room because you completely lose the use of your sofa. On Disney, they switch it back into a sofa every day automatically. And then, that fabric "headboard" had stains on it and we asked our room attendant about it, and he said they have tried everything and can't get the stains out, so that's a design flaw.
Love the Harmony rooms; we have no complaints. Only thing was last cruise someone kept smoking on their balcony 2 rooms down. We reported it but it continued the entire 7 day cruise which made it hard to enjoy our balcony we paid extra for obviously. Too bad there isn't a way to stop this.
I'm staying in a balcony stateroom on Harmony, in 10662. I love the configuration of your room with the bed next to the balcony instead of next to the bathroom! Is there any way to tell which configuration my stateroom is?
Depending on itinerary, it is not necessary as with many itineraries you will have most of your time spent at port off of the ship. That said, if you live in Europe and cruise the Med all the time. You may stay onboard the ship more than we would from the States and want the balcony room for more space and views. We would recommend you getting an inside or ocean-view room if it means more funds to spend at ports for excursions as that is the reason most cruise the Med. 🥳 Balconies are a comfort for most people and if that’s the case, it is worth the extra money to be comfortable in a somewhat different world. ☺️
This looks similar to the room I have booked on Liberty of the Seas. On some videos, the balcony doors appeared to have a whistle noise when they were closed - did you notice any noise from the door seal?
What does this room usually cost per night for one person? I am looking for Balcony Room located at a low level or a room closest to the ship's center away from public spaces that can be noisy. Are you able to offer the BEST price compared to booking elsewhere? Do you have connection to offer THE BEST price for this particular room?
Hi Lucy, we offer some special agency rates for Balcony Rooms which are usually the best rate you can get (better than what you will find booking direct through Royal Caribbean). Just depends on the ship, itinerary and dates. ☺️
Jared always has the biggest, sweetest smile! 💜
Aww thanks! 😁
Adorable ❤️

Thanks for this tour! I will be in a balcony room on the Harmony in March. Can’t wait!
So happy to help! 🤗
This is the best balcony stateroom tour I’ve seen for Harmony. Great job and thanks so much for posting this!
Thank you so much!

Great video. Where would a third bed go? We have 3 in our upcoming trip.

Holland America has great beds. Most of Royal's beds suck. I've slept on floors with more padding.

jj what level was this video on.
Great video & amazing room tour! Which deck is this room?
Thanks! Unfortunately, it’s been a good 7 months since this cruise so we aren’t positive but believe we were on deck 7.
Harmony is our favorite ship!❤
Such an awesome ship!!
The television can be pulled out and titled toward the couch.
Great video as always. My cabin tour might come after Christmas 😂
Can’t wait! 😉
Was this the regular balcony or spacious balcony?

How was the noise in this stateroom? From the goings on in the ship? I was hoping you’d talk about that! 😊
No noise at all in our cabin! Walls are great!
Symphony was the same, but bed and couch were reversed. Also the balcony door was hard to open.
Ughhh ...I missed live chat. Happy holidays all!
Happy Holidays Tracy!! We almost did too! Our clocks changed onboard the ship 😅
Is this the extended balcony or the regular sized? Thanks!
Regular size. ☺️
I miss rooms with a table & chair sit down area where you can eat on. Hard to do room service or simple easy work space.
Would you recommend a balcony for a Mediterranean cruise?
Depending on itinerary, it is not necessary as with many itineraries you will have most of your time spent at port off of the ship.

None on our balcony door, but that can happen on older rooms that may need a new seal.
Enjoy Liberty of the Seas!! 🥳
